Hello, I'm Anya McCoy, an artisan natural perfumer and I also teach perfumery in a one-year intensive course online - click here
Anya's Garden of Natural Perfume. The
Natural Perfumers Guild is another business I own and manage. Here, I'm your hostess on this friendly, helpful group dedicated to perfume made only with aromatics from flora, soil and cruelty-free animal essences. We encourage members to adhere to the Guild standards of excellence in regards to sourcing, blending and education.
A natural perfume is made of aromatics such as essential oils, absolutes, waxes, CO2 extracts, resins, concretes, oleoresins, herbs, tinctures, and infused oils. Natural perfume is also sometimes called botanical perfume. No synthetic fragrance oils are ever appropriate in a natural perfume.
Want to learn to make natural perfume? This group is a great starting point for your education.
We artisan perfumers have a hands-on approach to fragrance creation.
Many of us have started to infuse and tincture our own materials, using aromatics like rare flowers, beeswax, fragrant leaves, saffron, sugar and whatever strikes our fancy.
We also address sustainability issues, ethics, marketing, networking and how to best make this community grow in a responsible and dynamic manner.
This group is in no way associated with the ads at the top or bottom of this page, many of which are *not* natural perfumery companies. Join this group to learn the difference.
