Having problems with message search?
i had an appt. yesterday at SS. i have won my case in Nov 03 and am awaiting payment. so they are paying ssi from 9-01 - 8-02, 8-02 i married my husband. so, after disability pymts form work and a small pension from my last job, i get whatever is left. then i found out that some other office handles the SDI portion. the lady said it could get a current months check as soon as two weeks, and that would continue on a monthly basis, which would be nice, anything would help. but, the lump sum, cuz its been 2-1/2 yrs fighting SS, could be as long as 5 months. uugg, not what i wanted to hear. so, the process is sooo slow. but, it should be worth it. hiring the atty was the best thing i did.
