I have taken providial but not for long for I was unable to function (it didn’t work) back to the Dexedrine for me. Seems I have tried all the meds for idiopathic hypersomnia and end up back on the dexedrine every time. I do get sleepy in the humidity no matter what but with an 8 or 9 hour sleep night, my vitamins, and good eating habits I feel some what normal on the dexedrine. This is hard to do some times but it is the only thing that really works best for me. OH yeah and try to keep the stress out of my life as much as possible ....... lol now that is totally impossible working for an airline like the one I work for. So I am looking for another job to solve that problem. It is cloudy and cooler here today but the humidity got me last week too. STAY safe and awake and have a great day every one!!

I just got back from jogging. Though early, it was warm and humid.
At least, I did not fall asleep, but was quite lethargic. I realized that,
if I had not been jogging, I would have been zonked out at my desk
or in my recliner.
I take Provigil, but seem to be having some side effects....like
pruritis and headaches. Does anybody else here take Provigil and
notice any side effects? How effective is it for you?
Take care....donpat...............
