Are there any scholarships available that will help support my travel and lodging expenses and pay for my convention registration fee?

A limited number of CMHS (Center for Mental Health Services) Scholarship applications are available. These CMHS Scholarships cover the registration fee and a portion of the travel and/or lodging costs.

The following are guidelines for the CMHS scholarships:

• The scholarships are for consumers only
• A very limited number of scholarships are available (In 2004, over 200 applications were received and 35 people were awarded scholarships.)
• Only strong applications are likely to be awarded scholarships
• The deadline for submitting applications is March 1 (NO Exceptions)
• Applications are NOT sent to the NAMI office.

Completed CMHS scholarship applications should be returned to:
