This is the copy I have sent to the AJ to run this weekend. We need to get the
word out about this. This should be very nice! I have signs
we can print and post if you have a location to to that. They are 8.5 X 11" in
size so can be posted anywhere. I'll email one if you can use it.
Several people have called me wanting to know if I want expect them to be there.
YES, I want everyone there. We will not have support that night so everyone
needs to be at this event instead.

To an open forum for people with mental illness, their families or anyone with
an interest in mental illness. Six local psychiatrists will present
information and answer questions about current state of the treatment of mental
illness. This will take place on October 3, at 7 pm in Room 100 of the Student
Academic Building at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. This
educational event is part of Mental Illness Awareness Week and will give you new
insight on the latest in mental health. Whether you looking for information for
you, a friend or a family member, this forum will be very informative. For more
information, call the NAMI Lubbock office at 783-9268 or 773-4090.
