The New York Coalition of Creative Arts Therapists (NYCCAT) is an association made up of professionals from the field of Creative Arts Therapy including Art Therapists, Dance/Movement Therapists, Drama Therapists, Music Therapists, Poetry Therapists, and Psychodramatists.

NYCCAT's mission is to promote and follow the progress of Creative Arts Therapy Licensure (LCAT) in the State of New York, to support and maintain high standards of professional competence among Creative Arts Therapists by promoting education,
training, research, and professional opportunities, and to increase public awareness of the Creative Arts Therapies.

**Membership to the NYCCAT e-group requires approval. You must provide information supporting your Creative Arts Therapy background or give reason, if not a Creative Arts Therapist, of your association to and/or interest in the profession. Requests to join this e-group will be denied if this information/intent is not provided.
