Hi everyone I wanted to introduce myself. I am a recent graduate from A New
beginning School of Massage Killeen I have not taken my big test yet. I am
going to take the MBLEX in December, a little worried about it. I am looking to
make friends with other massage therapists and learn things from you.
For more information or to purchase your Bodyworkers' Biz Planner go to www.bodyworkersbizplanner.com
"The Day Planner/Organizer created for Massage Therapists by Massage Therapists"
(Biz Planner System with the Binder-$135.00, Planner Pages without the Binder-$80.00)
With the Bodyworkers' Biz Planner you can achieve the following activities on a daily basis:
·Successfully organize daily appointments - the actual daily pages come with a waiting list section on each day and a place to list your available time slots.
·Forecast daily, weekly and monthly massage revenue with special summary pages for each. You will always know if you are on track to reach your financial goals.
·Use the daily, weekly and monthly summary pages to track your marketing and client retention activities on a regular basis.
·Organize your daily business transactions with the business reports/forms specifically designed for a Massage Therapist's daily activities. Some of the forms included are cancellation/no-show reports, package/gift certificate reports, and retail product sales/inventory reports.
·Set business and marketing goals for your massage business and personal life with the 12 month goal worksheets.
·Set your personal and business mission statements with the mission statement guideline and worksheets.
·Portable Client Information Forms which fit in your day planner - these are great for Massage Therapists who conduct outcall business and need to collect client information while in the field.
·Client Inquiry Forms- never search again for a piece of paper to take down information on a prospective client/piece of business. Use our form, which has a script to help you gather information from the caller.
I wanted to invite everyone to come to the Dallas Pride
Parade this weekend. It is a time
we can all come together, in a time of peace, and show each other acceptance.
As a transgender massage therapist, I know how challenging
it can be to build my own clientele and overcome the anxiety that others
have. The fear of touch is daunting
enough, but from a trans woman it can be even more challenging.
So, I guess I’m asking those that have no connection
to the gay community, to try and make that connection. The parade is safe and fun. There is a Pride Festival afterword to
meet with people from the community.
It will likely enrich your life, give you another perspective
and hopefully bring us all a bit closer. You may even find some new clientele yourselves!
p.s.I will be
bouncing around, but stop by the Youth First Texas booth to say hello to me if
I am there.Youth First is a
non-profit I serve for GLBT youth.

Hi Renee,
I go to Whole Foods for my aromatherapy and my oils. I use grapeseed oil
and coconut oil.

Does anyone here use other stores besides Body Logic to
buy their supplies?
I am wondering where there are some good places to buy
oils and aromatherapy and such.

One of the callings I believe we have as massage therapists
is to help others find peace in their lives. And of course we must find peace
in our own lives first, being healed ourselves.
As to my own journey in life, I found that peace, or
stillness, has become my daily goal to be a part of.It is always my highest priority, to be
still. When my mind is quiet, then
I am still and emotions are at bay. When my mind is quiet, I can give my full attention to my client, not
losing myself in a dream of thought.I stay connected at a deep level.I am very awake and alive.
I am sure many of you are already aware of this, doing so
much body work already. It is of
course a joy to leave your head and get into your body and massage does take us
there.
I wanted to let everyone know of a newsletter I have started
writing.I am inspired by many
great teachers, but by Eckhart Tolle and one of my
past teachers most of all.It is
called The Stillness Newsletter.
If you would like to subscribe, it is free of course, send
me a note or send a blank email to subscribe@....There is no advertising in the
newsletter, just a newsletter.I
share my photos, my poetry and writing. It is more personal than business and just something I do as part of the
greater healing needed on our planet.
You can see this month’s newsletter on my website
shown below too, to see what it is about. It is a monthly letter. You
can always read it online too, if you prefer.
Oh wow, neat website, looks very helpful thanks! :)
