Welcome to all the new subscribers to the NRCEV group on Yahoo.  This Yahoo!Group mail list operates in parallel with the main NRCEV website.  It provides an alternate site to download NRCEV information and forms as well as an email list server where people interested in emergency communications can discuss related topics, especially the NRCEV certification program.
 
I also want to pass a special thanks to Rick Palm, K1CE, who is editor of the ARES E-Letter.  Following his mention of NRCEV in today's issue of the e-letter, I have received SIXTEEN notifications of new subscribers to the NRCEV group.  This is more new members than I have ever seen in one day, and more than we usually see in an entire month.

Tom is exactly right. The Certification levels do not refere to a Type. The ARCTs are defined by Type. If you look at that matrix you will see how it applies...
