Description

As the role of the EmComm Volunteer has evolved, it has become evident that there is a need and desire for a means to formally and professionaly demonstrate the dedication, willingness to serve, and skills & technical knowledge of these volunteers.

The best instrument to demonstrate these qualities is through a standardized certification process and an organization to administer such a certification process. Recognition of the importance of a certification organization, and that none existed for the EmComm Volunteer, has resulted in the birth of the National Registry of Certified EmComm Volunteers.
