Most people automatically assume that Nonverbal Learning Disorder means "does not talk". Those of us with children who have been diagnosed with NLD know better. Children with NLD do not "see" nonverbal cues (like facial expressions, etc). NLD impacts a child's life in so many ways - socially, educationally and physically. I hope that those people who join this list will all benefit from each other's experiences. This list welcomes families with children who have NLD, as well as professionals such as occupational and physical therapists, speech & language professionals, etc.
