NJHA’s interactive e-mail and bulletin board system is designed for NJHA members and interested constituencies to help exchange the latest information on organ and tissue donation initiatives. This forum allows for two-way communication between hospitals and staff from a variety of other healthcare organizations involved in organ and tissue donation activities. It can be used to communicate relevant issues, share best practice protocols, ask questions and identify trends in organ and tissue donation activities on local, state and federal levels. It can also be used to send and receive notices, updates, files, notes and inquiries as well as a quick and easy technique to share and network with other professionals involved in organ and tissue donation. The key feature is a listserv, delivering messages directly to your in-box. It also includes an online web-based searchable archive of these messages, a polling feature that allows quick noting on questions posted, file sharing, a database facility and a chat room. The electronic bulletin board feature displays all the messages sent by the group for easy reference.
