NJHA’s interactive e-mail and bulletin board forum is designed for NJHA members to help exchange the latest information on Medicaid managed care. It allows for two-way communication between hospital staff responsible for managed care and reimbursement as well as with NJHA staff focused on Medicaid managed care. It can be used to *Communicate relevant issues *Raise 'red flags' on specific issues allowing for a timely response by the Association. *Solicit assistance from NJHA staff. *Assist NJHA in its effort to identify patterns and trends of particular Medicaid HMO practices, Medicaid HMO violations, etc., that will aid in advocacy efforts. *Receive notices, updates and inquiries from NJHA regarding a variety of managed care practice and payment issues. Use of MedicaidWatch is restricted to NJHA members and key NJHA staff responsible for managed care issues. Please do not send confidential messages or information. The key feature is a listserv, delivering messages directly to your in-box. It also includes an online web-based searchable archive of these messages, a polling feature that allows quick voting on questions posted, file sharing, a database facility and a chat room. The electronic bulletin board feature displays all the messages sent by the group for easy reference.
