LLL of NE Portland offers both regular Series Meetings and Toddler Meetings.

Series Meetings:

These are regular monthly La Leche League Meetings, the primary purpose of which is to meet the needs of new breastfeeding mothers.

La Leche League of North/Northeast Portland meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Rose City Park Methodist Church, 5830 NE Alameda. (One block South of Sandy Blvd.) Meetings are not church affiliated.

Toddler Meetings:

Toddler meetings are supplementary meetings designed to meet the needs of mothers with older babies, toddlers and beyond. Your baby does not have to be walking yet, nor does your child need to still be a toddler to be welcome at these meetings. Topics will vary according to the needs of the mothers in attendance, and will not be restricted to breastfeeding, but instead branch out beyond feeding to cover such subjects as nighttime parenting, loving guidance, developmental norms and behaviors, socialization and problem solving, communication, etc.

Toddler Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m., in the Community Room of McMenamin's Kennedy School located at 5736 NE 33rd Avenue. The room is located in the far southeast corner of the building so go around the back and park in the parking lot. If you'd like, you may bring a snack to share. Reminders for both meetings will be sent out to members of this group each month, or group members can always check the Yahoo Group Calendar on the group web site (by clicking the calendar link at the bottom of any group email message).

It is a good idea to check email before heading to the toddler meeting, in case illness or other unforseen event has resulted in a change in location or cancellation.
