Hello all....

I am very excited about seeing you this week at the Carolinas
Conference on Addiction and Recovery in Chapel Hill. For details on the
conference, directions etc...see www.carolinasconference.com.

Just for the record, everyone is registered and has a bed to sleep
in!!! Lunches and dinners (no breakfasts) are provided. I have some of
your requests for which preconference session you want and I will get
the others when you arrive. There is no activity on Tuesday night but
we may make a late night ice cream run!!

The preconference sessions (either Ethics/Infectious Diseases with
David Holden and Kathy Norins or Clinical Supervision with David Powell)
begin sharply at 9am on Wed. You will want to arrive early enough to
allow for conference check-in.

Note: I need volunteers to serve as session monitors/speaker
assistants for each session. Please let me know who is willing to do
this....not an onerous task, but it will require working with the
speaker to make sure all mikes etc...are hooked up, checking attendance
etc...Carol Whaley will ride herd on this endeavor. Thanks for your
willingness to serve. Let me know.

Some of your colleagues may not be getting this email, so please take a
few minutes and check-in which them. Travel safely and come prepared to
have fun and continue learning.
