Hello; that is unusaul for a single capsule of Thiamine B1 to smell
bad UNLESS this is a natural Thiamine B1 caps made from Rice Bran;

a pure white single pill of synthetic Thiamine should smell fresh
like a synthetic pill of Vitmain C should; prob. old stock of
Thiamine from shelf; I would not recommend the creme yet

here is why;

the thiamine they put in the creme is the same thiamine you can buy
from the pharmacy (check label date) so if you buy the creme

you will paying a lot; you can make your own creme; I would throw the
old bottle of thiamine away; and buy a fresh bottleof Thiamine caps.

Make sure the pill is white; not brown or yellow; about $5 a bottle.--
