The Imperial Court of Houston, Inc. [ICOH – The Space City Empire] presents “Imperial Summer Soiree” this Friday, July 8 at the Magnolia Ballroom (715 Franklin) from 8:00 pm – 12:00 midnight. The event will be hosted by Sean Carter a.k.a. Chanel Cartier and Greater Houston GLBT Chamber of Commerce Chamber Vice President and ICOH Grand Duke Jeffrey Wallace along with their host committee:  Apollo Emperor Jerel McNeil and Gemini Empress Eartha Quake,  Apollo Emperor II Keith Vyvial and Mercury Empress IX and Celestial I Regina Dane; Baron Orlin Cullever; Count Sir Korwin; Lord Roger Barrera; Baron Craig Farrell; Crown Prince Royale and HCC Chairman Scott Kenyon and Falcon; Countess Judy Reeves; Baron and Baroness Chris and Gracie Novak; Imperial Prince Marc Cohen; Cosmic Counselor for Life Chris Salza; and Baroness Joel Icenhower.

 

This party will feature open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dancing with tunes by DJ Papi, star-studded show, and raises money for three non-profits: The Imperial Court of Houston, Inc [ICOH – The Space City Empire], The Colt 45’s and AIDS Foundation Houston.

 

ICOH is also selling raffle tickets for this event with the grand prize being 2 coach tickets on to any Continental Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean and South America. (Travel must be completed by June 2006.) The drawing will be held Friday, July 8. (Winner will be notified Monday, July 11.)

Half of all raffle proceeds will benefit the Colt 45’s, a 29-year-old all volunteer charity which oversees four assistance funds: The AIDS TroubleFund – which gives emergency rental and utility assistance to PWA’s; the Stone Soup Fund- which pays for the monthly Kroger Cards distributed to AIDS Foundation Houston Stone Soup clients; the Til Thacker Memorial Fund – which distributes funds to other charities; and the Burial Assistance Fund – which provides financial aid for funeral and memorial expenses.

 

There is no charge for this party as it is invitation only...donations will be graciously accepted -- and will benefit AIDS Foundation Houston Camp Hope through ICOH Enthronement IV.
