Barry Petree Community Commitment Award
ICOH - The Space City Empire is seeking nominations from the community for the
Barry Petree Community Commitment Award. The recipient of this honor is awarded
by an open community vote and announced at the annual ICOH Enthronement Ball in
October.
The award was created by proclamation of Mercury Emperor XIII, Jerel McNeil, to
recognize a member of our community who represents the ideals of charitable
commitment and community service that the late Barry Petree embodied. “Barry
had an endless commitment of serving the community, and especially those living
with HIV/AIDS,” explains McNeil. “His focus and devotion are greatly
missed.”

attention at 1739 Commonwealth, Houston, TX 77006. Nominations must be received

Emperor and Gemini Empress. Voting will be held August 12, 4 – 7pm (EJ’s •
