As many of you may remember Ed Eaton, who was actively involved in the Foundation, I got this information yesterday and felt that I should pass it on to you guys. Ed was a devoted member of the Foundation and even after he resigned, he continued to run the sound for the Annual Pageant. It is such a shame to hear such news. Richard also said that he was on a respirator and the doctor was afraid that if they removed that he would not make it.
This makes me think that we all should be happy with our health situations and that even though life seems rough, which mine certainly has been, there is always someone in a worst situation.
Let's all hope and pray that a miracle might happen for Ed. He is such a great person.
Hello David,
Good to hear from you. Yes, Ed is seriously ill in San Diego. In fact, his ex-lover, Calvin, called me this morning. He is out there helping the family. He has Pancreatic cancer and has tubes everywhere and down his throat, so he cannot speak. Calvin says he looks very grave and frail.
Since his move to San Diego, we have only communicated by email from time-to-time. Ed was indeed, frequently bitter the last time I saw him before he left Houston. He had lost his job and was not having any luck finding another job here in Houston. Marc Hernandez sent me the first word, day before yesterday.
I will keep you informed, should I hear anything more.
Let's hope that Ed will respond to this therapy, and improve. In the meantime, say a prayer for Ms. Edwina Cuntwater (the name he used with us as a Folleyette). Please stay in touch, and Happy New Year, my friend.
Hugs,
Richard Arduengo aka Ava Cado
I am still here in Ft. Lauderdale for the time being. Hope all is well with you guys and that you had a wonderful Holiday. Now if I can just get the Christmas shit down and packed away for another year.
Big Hugs to Everyone,
Love,
David Stewart
BTW: Congratulations are again in store for Steve Roberts who produced another outstanding newsletter for the Foundation. You guys don't realize the hours it takes to put something together like that. It truly is a "newsletter". My hat and hair are off to you Steve for taking on such a big job. Keep up the good work.
