A support group in Mid-Missouri for all people with invisible illnesses (CFIDS, FMS, GWS, MCS, etc.)

We are located in Columbia and have meetings twice each month:

Day meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month (2:00-4:00 p.m.), at Services for Independent Living, 1401 Hathman Place, Columbia.

Evening meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month (6:30-8:30 p.m.), at Daniel Boone Regional Library, located at 100 W Broadway, Columbia, Missouri. The evening meeting takes place in Conference Room B.

Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the Mid-Missouri CFIDS and FMS Support Group to provide a forum for exchange of information about Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) and related disorders (Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, etc.) and personal experiences in a supportive environment; to support the psychological well-being of its members in an accepting and non-threatening environment as they deal with the experience of chronic illness; to promote patient and public awareness and education about CFIDS and related disorders; and to participate in the developement of social policy which is aimed at improving the health of the population as a whole, but particularly those with CFIDS and related disorders.
