This is a reminder that the next Michigan Alliance of Direct Support Professionals monthly meeting will be held on Thursday October 20th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Disability Network, 3600 S. Dort Highway, Suite 54, Flint MI  48507.  This month's meeting will offer a training opportunity provided by a trainer from the Developmental Disabilities Institute's Empowerment Education project.  The training is entitled "Self-Advocates and Direct Support Professionals Working in Partnership to Acheive Life's Dreams".  Everyone is welcome to attend and light refreshments will be made available.  For more information please call Kathy McGeathy at the Disability network at 810-742-1800 or Michael Bray at the Developmental Disabilities Institute at 313-577-6684.
