This is a reminder that the next monthly Michigan Alliance of Direct Support Professionals meeting will be held at the Disability Network, 3600 S. Dort Hwy, Suite 54, Flint, MI  48507, on Thursday October 20th, from 10am - 12pm.  At this month's meeting, a trainer from the Developmental Disabilities Institute's Empowerment Education project will offer a training opportunity entitled "Self-Advocates & Direct Support Professionals Working in Partnership to Acheive Life's Dreams".  This training can be worth up to 1.5 CEU's toward continuing education credit.  All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.  For more information, please call Kathy McGeathy at the Disability Network at 810-742-1800 or Michael Bray at the Developmental Disabilities Institute at 313-577-6684.
