The Mid-Michigan Chapter meeting will be May 20th from 1:30-3:30
at the Strostacker Center in Midland. (Same location as the ARC of
Midland).

Our training session this month will be :

Supporting Growth Through Opportunity and Choices:

This training is designed to give you information about how to
support people with disabilities in making their own choices without
influencing them in their decision-making. Individuals attending this
training will have the opportunity to:

*Understand the definition of choice
*Understand why people need choices
*Understand why you may want to make chices with someone
*Identify three ways to asssit you in supporting consumer's choices
