AN OPEN INVITATION TO ALL NADSP STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND NADSP LIST SERVE MEMBERS:

The NADSP will hold its annual meeting in conjunction with the ANCOR conference next week. The NADSP meeting will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans, LA. The time of the meeting will be 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and the room arrangements, thanks to Jerri McCandless at ANCOR, will be at “Rhythm 3” meeting room at the hotel.  

This meeting will feature a number of important topics including the move of NADSP toward a more structured and incorporated entity. The preliminary agenda will include the following:

1. By-Law and Article of Incorporation Discussion
2. Policy, Practices, and the Alliance for Full Participation
3. ANCOR Update on DOL and National Advocacy Campaign
4. Apprenticeship Framework Discussion
5. New NADSP Members, State Affiliates, NADSP Contact List
6. American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry
7. Supporting State Chapters with DD Council and Foundation funding
8. Ethics Workbook Update
9. State of the State updates
10. Set next meeting and monthly phone conference schedule
11. Adjourn

As you can all see this will be a busy agenda!!!! Please plan on joining us for this important meeting about the future of NADSP.
