The Detroit Men's Wisdom Council (MWC) is a group of men who are interested in exploring issues related to being a man today. All interested men are welcome to participate. The Council intersperses ritual with topics such as men's health, personal growth, family dynamics, feelings and friendship. This group offers men a venue to just "be themselves" and relate to each other beyond just sports, jobs and cars.

The Council is a "grass roots" organization formed to address the needs of men. Every attempt is made to have communications enhance group dynamics.
