This is a forum for men to discuss ways of acknowledging, overcoming, and transcending depression. Oftentimes, men are not aware of their feelings of
depression, and when they are, they are not able to express it. Here is a place to do both.
Members are encouraged to discuss ways they live with and transcend depression.
Suicidal discussions are welcome, however, please recognize that this is not a substitute for professional care, and if you are suicidal, you may only
receive just encouragement to immediately do the following things which you are responsible for in addressing your own depression: Call your insurance
company to seek professional care, call a suicide hotline (located in the Blue Pages of your phone book or via 411), and/or go to the nearest emergency room
to report your intentions.
It is assumed that what is said here is said in confidence. All members are asked to keep the information confidential.
Messages, files, etc. are only distributed to other members. This information is not available to non-members in order to preserve confidentiality. Solicitations, spam, trolling, chronic flaming, etc. are not appropriate for this forum, and persons who participate in this may be unsubscribed with or
without notice by the Moderator.
The focus in this is to help each other learn, stick to, and work towards acceptance, recovery, and transcendance of depression.

would like to gain from it, and what you feel you can contribute. Do not sign up for "Special Notices". There will be none.
