As the Bible warns: "And it shall be, as with the people, so with the
priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so
with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the
lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the
giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly
spoiled . because they have transgressed the laws.. Therefore hath
the
curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate"
(Isaiah 24:2-6).

JCT: I couldn't wait so here's my first draft of the above.

Isaiah 24 verse 2 warns of a sifting sand,
When loansharking's allowed to stalk officially the land:
"And it shall be, as with the people, with the priest, no joke,
As with the servant, so with master; none escape the yoke,

As with the maid, so with her mistress; enmity at stake.
As with buyer, so with seller; all must suffer rake,
As with the lender, with the borrower, it shall yet be,
As with taker and the giver of the usury.

The land shall utterly be emptied, spoiled while decadent,
Beloved fools, they have transgressed His law on money's rent.
So therefore hath the curse devoured earth, not Heaven-ly,
And desolate are they who dwell in Hell "with" usury.
(Isaiah 24:2-6).

Isn't the Bible already quite poetic?
What a great warning about one and one sin mentioned.
