JCT: The Crown stayed Rudy Seegobin's marijuana charges in
Perth Ontario today despite Rudy wanting them withdrawn. Now
the charge is only dead in 12 months. Still, they're going
to give him back his equipment but say his quarter ounce of
herb, 7 grams, is ruined and can't be returned. It was over
before he had a chance to apply to quash.
Regardless, he's happy with the nightmare being over. He now
has his exemption to cultivate, his expensive equipment back
so appealing to withdraw charges isn't so attractive. So,
no S.24 Order for the return of the pot, Derek Francisco
is still the first on the team, but a win on everything
else.
