JCT: I got a call from a friend I met at a marijuana demo a
few years ago. One of his friends from Paris Ontario, Randy
Post, was busted with having 20 marijuana plants in his back
yard. He uses it for arthritis. He was to be pleading
yesterday and the Crown had offered him 3 months house
arrest and probation.
It was an enclosed yard so one of his neighbors had to have
complained. Sad that someone would get something out of
reporting someone else. Probably afraid of "toxic mould."
Considering how 90% of most homes already have mould, it
means 90% of all busted grow-ops will be cited as having
mould! Easy to keep the suckers worried as long as they
think it's because of the marijuana and not because it's
just always already there.
I told him to ask for some time to find a doctor to submit
his exemption application. They put him off to Feb 16 so he
could file his Prohibition application in Superior Court
which we did later in that afternoon.
So another sick guy is seeking to prohibit his cultivation
charges on the grounds of the Krieger invalidation of
section 7 in 2002 which was never re-enacted by Parliament.
Unlike the Section 4 possession prohibition, it was not even
claimed to be un-repealed by Alan Young's Hitzig court which
doesn't have the power to do so even though Alan Young tells
Canadian viewers that they did.
