JCT: Crohn's sufferer Rudy Seegobin received his exemption
to use marijuana last Friday! Instead of dropping the
charges, the Crown is still going on with his trial on Feb
5. Being charged with 3Kg of marijuana, Rudy elected to have
a trial by judge and jury, something the Crown's denied me
my charging me with possession of less marijuana than I had
at my Parliament Hill bust.

I find it hard to believe they can get a jury trial set on
such short notice but so be it.

And Rudy has his Krieger Prohibition coming up on Friday Jan
26! If he loses, he'll be another, like Pierre Drouin, on
appeal, while having his exemption.

Why the Crown won't withdraw cultivation charges like they
were withdrawn against Robert Neron, Richard Johnson,
Toronto trio, Derek Francisco is unknown but Rudy says the
Crown is citing some new Toronto case law to bolster their
case. Has Professeur Saboteur Alan Young lost any new cases
that the government can use against us like his losing
Wakeford and Hitzig cases? I haven't heard of any new case
law and the Crown didn't cite anything for Thursday's case.
No material filed either. I guess they're hoping to gain an
advantage by springing their new case law at the last
moment.
