Hello John,
I am Rodney Slagter and I am interested in understanding
some basics of Babylonian Banking. Were they the first to
use bank notes or cheques as reserves against more loans
similar to the Federal Reserve system used in the USA today?
JCT: I think the "loansharking of credit" was known long
before Babylon. David Astle's Babylonian Woe gives the
impression the money-masters have understood how to own the
world since money first started being used.
>Also, how did this help or hinder their conquest of the
known world?
JCT: The known world was conquered by the International Gold
Bullion Cartel thousands of years before national conquerors
arose. Someone was using common weights from China to
England before anyone thought of actual international rule.
Nations never had a chance against the invisible power of
the gold-owners.
>Would a date of 700-600BC be correct?
Thank you for your input. Rod Slagter Charlotte NC
JCT: 7000-6000BC would be more like it, I'd bet.
