Poll #1 result on "luck" & my remarks   Message List

Result: Slightly more than half of you believe that having better luck is
more important than having a good system or strategy to beat roulette.

It is understood that for most people, roulette is a game that is based on
pure chance.
The fact that it only has 37 or 38 wheel pockets make this game a lot more
'winnable' than Lotto or the big lottery sweep.

So what do you think the majority of players depend on when they play
roulette?
It has to be luck because up till now, everybody acknowledges that no system
can be above luck - this is a fact!

Although some of you may want to "believe" that there could be a perfect
system out there which will be able to overcome the house advantage, I would
like to bring you back to the present reality (i.e now) that you are merely
projecting your own idealistic scenario into the future.

In all honesty I want to agree with you that perhaps....just perhaps some
day, one of us will eventually discover that holy grail roulette system
which can bring down the house. But whether this will occur soon enough
within our own lifetime is anybody's guess! It just seemed that some of you
are willing to wait for that golden moment, which means that you're being
optimistic. However mathematicians will think that you're simply wasting
your time.......

This first vote has shown an almost equal divide between the two groups. And
then there is a small number of minority skeptics (less than 6%) who neither
believe in luck nor in a successful system. Of course everybody is entitled
to choose his own vote, which is why I've made the wordings of the poll as
fair as possible - so I'm not denying this. Nevertheless, the finding has
been quite interesting to everyone, regardless of which sides you take.

I want to talk briefly about Universal Reality. What is it? Again is luck
above a system or the other way round? To have the correct answer, it must
not be based on what you want but rather on what is actually being seen with
no bias attachment. Such an observation is common sense really & yet our
thinking are sometimes clouded due to wrong perception. Hence with better
understanding of UR, you will be able to see the truth on every matter in
life in a non-judgemental way.

I have mentioned many times that luck depends on time & that you cannot play
all the time (refer to my ebook on Luck Rule #2). What other hopes do we
have at the moment if we still have not discovered that perfect system yet?
From this question, one will recognize that all of us have a finite
opportunity because we don't live forever. While we have a free will to do
whatever we want, we can only move forward by taking advantage of good
knowledge & utilising them properly in the real world before we reach the
end of our life. In other words.....if something works, apply it!

That is all I have to say for now. Next we are going to find out the ratio
of players who are ahead of the house compared to those who are behind on
their favourite game. You will be able to contribute your vote over the next
poll which will be out shortly.
