Hello all,
Glad to see we are growing in numbers. Well today I am entering my
fifth day of the Master Cleanse program. This is my first experience
with fasting, and I feel excellent. The reason I went on this fast is
to give my digestive system a break, allow my body to just be, to
detoxify itself and allow nature to take over.
I just want to stress the importance of getting organic lemons and
100% pure maple syrup. I use natural spring water, sometimes cold,
sometimes at room temperature. I am fortunate to have a natural health
food store in my neighborhood, where I purchased the aforementioned
items. I got grade A maple syrup and am doing just fine with it, but
next time, I'll get the recommended grade B.
On the second day of the fast I also did the internal salt water
bathing solution. This is a much more thorough and safer cleansing
than colonics or enemas. This cleanses out your digestive system
within 25 to 30 minutes of drinking it.
I am amazed at the fact that I have not lost any energy. Nothing
painful about any of this. When I start to get hungry, I simple make
another lemonade drink and remarkably it satisfies the hunger. It is
mostly a mental challenge. It's a little difficult watching tv that
features food (my mouth does water at times), but it's not that bad. I
don't feel starved at all. It's a psychological boost to know that you
are giving your body a well deserved break from all the processed
foods out there.
I plan to break the fast in the next day or so by drinking freshly
squeezed orange juice and vegetable broth. This has been a positive
experience for me and I hope this sheds a little light to those who
are curious to try it.
