Greetings to you all!
I am turning to you (and to the TT network) for help with putting
some of the things we "know" into words as I edit a manuscript. I also
hope it will stimulate a great exchange/dialogue!
Here is the background:
In the study I looked at measures of different aspects or dimensions
of the human field (as well as healer-healee mutual process in TT).
I measured the physical (visible) with vital signs and self-reported
pain
I measured "emotional" and "mental" with self-reported stress and
Eliz Barrett's power tool
I measured "spiritual" with Elkins' spiritual orientation inventory
I measured diversity with Marie Hastings-Tolsma's DHFPS, hoping it
might encompass some of the individual
measures above
One reviewer wrote that this was adding "parts" which is inconsistent
with unitary theory (in this case, Rogers)
In my mind, or inner vision, these are dimensions or aspects of the
whole... but they do have some distinct properties (densities,
frequencies)
I would appreciate your thoughts on my conceptualization, and how I can
express this better ! Thanks, Dottie

Dear Dottie- I wonder if some of the problem is level of abstraction. To me, "human field" and "mutual process" are elements of pattern (most abstract level),...
