Thanks, Fran.
A day to remember Martha. She changed the direction of many of our
lives, professionally and personally, and changed the direction of
nursing for all time. She continues to guide us. There is much to be
grateful for and much to look forward to in the Science of Unitary
Human Beings.
Love to all,
Elizabeth

Subject: [Martha_E_Rogers] Remembering Martha
>I thought I would like to offer you the following poem, in memory of
> Martha, who died this Sunday, March 12, too many years ago.

>
>
> Requiescat
>
> Strew on her roses, roses,
> And never a spray of yew!
> In quiet she reposes;
> Ah, would that I did too!
>
> Her mirth the world required;
> She bathed it in smiles of glee.
> But her heart was tired, tired,
> And now they let her be.
>
> Her life was turning, turning,
> In mazes of heat and sound.
> But for peace her soul was yearning,
> And now peace laps her round.
>
> Her cabined, ample spirit,
> It fluttered and failed for breath.
> Tonight it doth inherit
> The vasty hall of death.
