Colleagues, Rory's idea is a very fine one. How about starting with some
discussion of various views of unitary science? For those at the Rogerian
Conference in New York this past weekend, recall that the first question I asked
of the panel of nurse theorists was: What is unitary science? Another question I
asked was, What is unitary healthcare? I think it would be informative if some
of us on the listserv answered these questions, along with a related question,
What is the difference between unitary science and human science?So, to get us
started:

What is unitary science?
What is human science?
What is the difference between human science and unitary science?
What is unitary healthcare?

About getting a discussion going\How about people summarizing to start --
the conference and then the dialogue. I would have loved to be at dialogue --
what happened? I attended the conference and found it wonderful -- reinforced
my pride in being a nurse -- what visionaries, thinkers and wonderful brains
we have in our midst. Any one please summarize - I want to know what the theme
was for dialogue. I will put my thoughts in about the conference when I get
a chance to catch up from being away a lot and needing to catch up on many
fronts.
