Society of Rogerian Scholars Martha E. Rogers Scholars Fund 2009
Scholarship Award AWARD CRITERIA
1. Research or clinical practice project based in RogersĄŻ Science
of Unitary Human Beings (SUHB)

2. Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or above

3. Society of Rogerian Scholars (SRS) membership (SRS membership form
is available in the SRS website (www.societyofrogerianscholars.org)

4. Two letters of reference that address the studentĄŻs:

a. Academic achievement

b. Commitment to nursing

c. Research/Project


HOW TO APPLY
1. Obtain an application from the SRS website
(www.societyofrogerianscholars.org)

2. Complete the application

a. Obtain two letters of reference

b. Write a single-spaced one page description of your research or
clinical practice project, including aim/purpose, background with clear
linkage to RogersĄŻ SUHB and summary of relevant literature, and
methods (if research, the scholarship will be awarded upon the receipt
of evidence of IRB approval)

3. Submit your completed application to the Fund by January 15,
2009.


AWARD PROCESS
1. Students e-mail applications to the Fund (tskim45@...
<mailto:tskim45@...> )

2. The Fund forwards applications to Scholarship Review Committee

3. The Scholarship Review Committee performs blind review of all
accepted applications and selects up to three (3) awardees

4. The selected applications are forwarded to the Fund

5. The Fund awards up to three (3) $1,000 Martha E. Rogers

Scholarships.
IMPORTANT DATES
1. January 15, 2009 - Applications must be submitted to The Fund

2. March 2, 2009 - Awards will be sent to the Awardees.
