Dear All:
This WIKI book is such a wonderful idea and contribution, Howard, not only
to the evolution of Rogerian science but to all nursing science and practice.
Great to have Visions available as well. I have been appalled at the lack of
interest and knowledge in nursing theory and science that seems to be the
norm lately. In holistic nursing (AHNA) and through the development of the AHNA
research committee we are hoping to revive that interest and work toward
studying and understanding such phenomena as 'holsitic' (I know Martha didn't
like that term) 'integrative,' 'complementary' and 'unitary' in ways that
nursing research, education and practice flowers and bears fruit. Mary
Hagedorn
and I wrote an article for Nursing Clinics June 07 - "Research Paradigms and
Methods for Investigating Holistic Nursing Concerns."
