Quado’s Message:

Today we will continue our Course in Creation, an aid to helping you create a life of joy, love and peace. For this is exactly what you are made of, and what you will want to learn to express during your stay here on earth, during this precious life which is yours to expand upon and create as beautifully as you can.

Today, I would ask you to be very aware of what you have within you. Be aware of your mind, of your ego, of your thoughts. Be very aware of your body and how it feels as well. Turn your awareness to the inside, and be one with how you are, how you have taught yourself to be in all of these years of your life. Heighten your awareness of what is, and then gently begin to change it, begin to nudge yourself toward new ways of being.

Do not expect that you can completely change yourself overnight. You will gradually evolve, beginning now, with the conscious insertion of new ways of thinking and being. It will begin and you will have moments of great strides, great clarity, moments of bliss when the world opens before you and glows in goodness. You will also have times when you step backwards into fear and doubt. And when these times come, you will need to learn to just forgive yourself, release any blame or criticism, and walk through whatever passages you must traverse and come out again on the other side.

But let us begin with what you need to do, what steps you need to begin to learn. Think of yourself as a little baby. You will crawl sometimes. You will make faltering steps and occasionally you will fall down. But you will pick yourself up again and move forward, and each time you do this, each time you have the courage to pull yourself up and take a few steps forward, your muscles will be learning how to put the patterns together, your mind and all of your nerve endings will be learning new ways of coordination, you will be growing stronger and stronger with each step you take. The occasional fall just means that you have not yet grown as strong as you need to be. But it also means that you are stretching your capabilities and this is good. The falls, the mistakes, are a natural consequence of growth. If you do not risk the occasional fall, then you will spend your entire life crawling, never taking the risk to stand up straight and tall and walk forward. And as you begin to grow in strength, you will learn to walk faster and faster, then to run, to run even across the rocks, skipping across the top, with total faith that you will find a foothold. And someday, you will sprout wings and begin to fly.

And so it takes all of this, the discipline and early training, as well as the courage to risk doing what you have not done before. And it takes faith. Faith in yourself and your ability to create a life of beauty and wonder. And faith in the help which is there for you, surrounding you on all sides. Let faith and courage be the companions to the deep love of yourself that you have begun building within you. Call them to you as your friends at all times. And then, risk it. Have the courage and the faith, love yourself enough, to allow yourself to take the risk of creating a new life for yourself, a life of love and joy and a deep, deep internal peace.

And so, let us begin with quieting down your mind. You will want to meditate in order to learn to control your mind. You may do this any way that you please. You may use the recorded meditations that I have dictated or you may use others. You may also decide that you prefer more silence, and you may simply breathe quietly. If you choose to do this, the meditation is very simple. Just close your eyes, breathe and pay attention to your breath as it enters and spreads throughout your body; then pay attention as it leaves your body. Just watch it with your mind's eye and be one with your breath. This is a very simple, very effective means of meditation which you can do anywhere and at any time.

You may also combine this with a mantra, either a mantra of your own, or simply using the word 'om', saying it silently to yourself as you breathe in and again as you breathe out.

As you meditate, do not be frustrated if your mind drifts. When you become aware that you have drifted, then bring your mind gently and easily back into your focus. Some people are able to stay more focused than others. It is not important. You will be as you will be. Let it be. Do not push and do not force.

The important thing to know is this: meditation will work for you whether you are doing it “correctly” or not. There is no right or wrong. There is only the exercise of doing it, and this will have its effect. Every day, without fail, spend at least fifteen or twenty minutes in meditation, whichever form you like. If you can, do it more than once a day, but at least once.

If you are extremely pressed and cannot spare the time one day, then do a shorter meditation. But do not skip it. Even if you spend five minutes breathing and focusing on your breath, this is better than not doing the meditation.

The meditation is a time when you will reach up into the world which is beyond this world. It does several things for you. First, it opens your mind to the world beyond mind. Secondly, it trains your mind to be quiet.

Your ego-mind is grounded in fear and doubt. It is focused on what you have been told by others in this society. It is entirely focused on achieving success and control in the world as it sees it, which is a world of fear and doubt. Your ego-mind lives in a desert, a desert where it must compete for resources, where people may be doing you harm, where it is a dog-eat-dog struggle each day to survive. And it just goes on and on, circling around on itself, finding fault here and there, criticizing you, criticizing others, placing judgment. All of this is the function of the ego-mind. One minute building you up by telling you how stupid and incompetent and ill-meaning others are and then the next moment tearing you down by telling you of all the mistakes you have made, by filling your head full of regrets and guilt. All of this noise must stop.

And it begins with meditation, a time when you bring the ego-mind down a notch, bring it into some degree of quiet, and open your mind up to the truth which is you, the truth of your higher self, the truth of your loving self.

The true self which is you is not centered in ego, fear and doubt. The truth which is you, the center of you, the heart of rightness which exists within you, is love. Love and peace and joy. When you are afraid, when you are full of doubt, know that it is the ego-mind at work. When you notice this, when you feel this fear in your body and hear the doubt in your mind, be aware. Learn to run up a red flag. And when that flag goes up, stop, take a deep breath, center yourself down into your solar plexus, open up your mind and allow your higher self to pour down love and joy into your mind. Fill your mind with peace and fill your center with peace and love. Allow it all to flow in as it works for you, either in through your breath or in through the top of you head. Practice and you will learn how it works best for you.

Then, when you are full of calm and love, then you may make decisions, choose what you need to choose in your life. But never, never, make your choices from a place of fear and doubt. If you do, you will create a life built on a foundation of fear and doubt, instead of a foundation of joy and love, peace and deep connection with all that you truly are.

And so, in this week, be aware. Be aware of what is in your mind, and gently move to control it. If you are having negative thoughts, stop and restate them as positive affirmations. State the opposite. If you are full of fear, stop and breathe and fill yourself with love instead. If you are full of doubt, stop and breathe and bring in faith.

The antidote to fear is action and love, action and choices which stem from a loving connection with your true self. The antidote to doubt is faith, a deep belief in yourself and what you are capable of, as well as all of the help which is there for you.

Be aware also of your body. Realize that your body is a tuning fork, in tune with your higher self. Pay attention to your center, your solar plexus. Learn to know its feelings. Learn how it feels when it is afraid. Learn how it feels when it is settled and calm. For now, just pay attention.

As time goes on, you will want to make all your decisions from a calm and settled place in your center. Begin by learning your body, learning all of its signs. And then, stop before you speak. Stop before you make choices. Stop and breathe and make sure you are in a calm place in your mind and in your body, make sure that all fear is gone, make sure that your center is relaxed and open and settled. Make all of your choices from this place, and your entire life will begin to transform.

It is not necessary for you to know what is in the future. It is not necessary for you to even have a vision of where your life should lead at this point. Your higher self knows these things and is conveying it to you through your mind and your body. It is all being sent down to you, but it is subtle. It is there, but it is not a loud clamoring noise.

Fear yells in your ears and in your mind. Doubt is a loud, insistent whine. But truth speaks differently. Truth is strong and quiet, lying inside your body with a settled strength, informing you of its presence. And angels whisper gently.

You must learn to quiet your mind, through the training ground of meditation, and through vigilant monitoring of fear and doubt, sending them away. Quiet all of that noise down and then move into that calm and settled place within you. Reach yourself down there. Learn to find that place. Train yourself, through daily exercise, to build up a connection to the truth which is you.

Create your life from the voices of fear and doubt and you will just repeat old patterns over and over and over. Create your life from your center of truth and you will shed those old patterns and begin to move forward. Yes, with baby steps. Yes, with occasional falling down and even a step or two backwards as you learn this new way of being.

Just one foot in front of the other, slowly, slowly. If the way is clear or if it is shrouded in fog, still can you walk forward, step by step, always moving with faith and courage, always feeling the truth within you in your center and streaming into your mind from your higher self.

Make these connections. Consciously work on them. Pay deep and close attention to what is going on within you and then gradually learn to bring it through, learn to bend it to the way you wish to be. And how is that? You wish to be full of love, for yourself and for life itself, and then let that overflow into a deep connection and love of others. And you wish to be full of peace, a deep peace which is focused in now, this moment only. Without worries over the future. Without regrets from the past. Just peace, right now, right here, inside an acceptance and understanding of things just as they are, in all their perfection. And you wish to be full of joy. And this joy will flow naturally out of the love and peace, when you have driven fear and doubt out of your mind and body.

Joy. Yes, joy. You can have this. You can awaken each day greeting the dawn like a bird, singing away in the tree, glorying in each moment as it unfolds. This is the life you will create.

You can do this. It does not matter if you have tried before and think that you failed. It is a process, a process which will continue all of your life. No matter how well you begin to walk, there will be a next stage, a next way of being which is even higher than that. Stay focused always on what is inside you. Pay attention. Know that you create the external from the internal. And that the most important thing you can do for yourself is learn to take dominion over yourself, over your mind and your body. This is the only control which matters. You cannot control the world outside. But if you learn to control the world inside, you will begin to have great influence on the world outside.

You have great creative forces inside you. And they will out. Your personal expression wants to be seen and to shine out in the world. But it begins with controlling the other forces which you have allowed to dominate up until now.

Right now, own this. Right now, take full responsibility for what you think and what you do. Take full responsibility for everything that happens inside your world. Watch your thoughts and take responsibility for them. Take responsibility for your actions. Take responsibility for what you do to and with your body.

The past does not matter. All that matters is this moment right now. And the future will flow out of this. What you think about right now, helps create the future which is moving toward you, flowing out of you. You are creating your future with your thoughts, with your choices, with all that you are.

So get to know yourself. Get to know the creative organism you are. Begin to create a mind and body inside yourself which reflects the truth of what you are, the joyous truth, the loving truth, the peaceful truth. Create yourself from the inside out.

A Few Words from Carrie:

I have a confession. I am not a “good” meditator. I drift off continually. I tried various kinds of visual meditation techniques, such as slowly tracing a little blue ball around my body with my eyes closed. That was hard work! I spent quite a bit of money getting my personal mantra hoping that this would bring me to a deeper experience. I like mantra meditation, but I still drift. I have finally settled on the Quado meditations as working the best for me—but I still drift.

Meditation got easier when I accepted that it will be like this for me. Once I released any expectation of what meditation would be like and just let it be, it got more enjoyable. It is not a blissful, “spiritual” experience for me. I do not see or feel anything. But I do it every day because it works. It makes me calmer. It keeps fear and doubt a little further away, enough so I can tell what is me and what isn’t. It just makes life easier to manage.

Dear Healers and Friends,

Mr. Andrew Wade from Australia, one of our senior MPRUE initiates, had a conversation with Archangel Michael and received this message from him. He is happy to share it with us.

With love and MPRUE blessings,
and all the best wishes for a wonderful, happy, healthy and successful year 2005,
Elisabeth

Andrew:
Please tell me if you can about the disaster in Asia affecting 12
countries with a death toll now at
80-90,000. WHY? It has had a profound impact on me emotionally,
physically and spiritually.

Michael:
I will find it difficult to explain to you despite your high level of
understanding of these matters. There are certain laws that govern
the Universe and this was brought about by the breaking of one of
these laws. You already know that those who are taken do not suffer,
as was the case with 9/11. But you are wondering about the people who
are left behind, mothers who lost their babies, fathers who lost
their children, and whole families washed away.

It was a cleansing to heal the world. A wake up call. The planet was
headed toward extinction. You were almost at the point of NO RETURN.
Nothing could have been achieved without suffering.

Now in four days nations are coming together in a massive response to
this crisis.

Now you need prayer directed toward world leaders, toward all those
who are suffering loss, and toward those who have the means to send
support.

Will the world change for the better? It now has the opportunity to
choose that path. If not, then like many civilizations before it,
this one too will be but a memory in time.

Dear MPRUE family,

Please send your light to all who are in need after the terrible sea-quake during Christmas, in South and South-East Asia.

With the light we may guide all of those who suddenly died, who are wondering were to go, not realising yet what has happened.

More then 11.000 souls are on their way to the light.

We may send healing energies to all who are suffering, emotionally, physically and mentally.

You may place the balance symbol over the whole area to make a worldwide Circle of Light and Healing.

Please pay gratitude to all the help of your Guides and Angels from Cosmos, as we are assisted in sharing our deepest intentions of Love and Light.

Please be in gratitude to all, who will be assisting in other ways, like food supplies, medicines, money, physical labour and social health care.

To all of those who will take care of people around them, sharing and caring…..

Meditate this evening, visualizing the light…………….remembering that our thoughts, intentions and deeds are making the difference in this world.

This terrible accident is also an opportunity to share your deepest feelings of love and peace, feelings of caring and acceptance.

Out of those feelings we create beauty and abundance. We create opportunities and the ability of a new beginning.

Thank you so much, keeping you all in my heart, Wil

Dear Healers,

as you will have heard by now, yesterday 26th December at about 2 a.m. GMT (?) a seaquake of the magnitude 8.9 (Richter) hit the area near the Northern tip of Sumatra (see map on above link) and caused a 20+ feet high Tsunami that destroyed beach areas of in nine countries. Right now the death toll is guessed to be 22,000+. We also have several group members and friends living in this areas.

Please send distant Reiki and other healing rays/energies to the people and departed souls who are in desperate need of them, including the volunteers and medical helpers working non-stop there. It must have been a tremendous shock for the victims, and stress for the survivers, wounded and now homeless.

Thank you, and God bless you!

MEDITATION ALTERS BRAIN STRUCTURE

Scans of Monks' Brains Show Meditation Alters Structure, Functioning By Sharon Begley, 5 November 2004

Published in The Wall Street Journal (Copyright (c) 2004, Dow Jones &Company,Inc.)

ALL OF THE Dalai Lama's guests peered intently at the brain scan projected onto screens at either end of the room, but what different guests they were. On one side sat five neuroscientists, united in their belief that physical processes in the brain can explain all the wonders of the mind, without appeal to anything spiritual or nonphysical. Facing them sat dozens of Tibetan Buddhist monks in burgundy-and-saffron robes, convinced that one round-faced young man in their midst is the reincarnation of one of the Dalai Lama's late teachers, that
another is the reincarnation of a 12th-century monk, and that the entity we call "mind" is not, as neuroscience says, just a manifestation of the brain.

It was not, in other words, your! typical science meeting.

But although the Buddhists and scientists who met for five days last month in the Dalai Lama's home in Dharamsala, India, had different views on the little matters of reincarnation and the relationship of mind to brain, they set them aside in the interest of a shared goal. They had come together in the shadows of the Himalayas to discuss one of the hottest topics in brain science: neuroplasticity.

The term refers to the brain's recently discovered ability to change its structure and function, in particular by expanding or strengthening circuits that are used and by shrinking or weakening those that are rarely engaged. In its short history, the science of neuroplasticity has mostly documented brain changes that reflect physical experience and input from the outside world. In pianists who play many arpeggios, for instance, brain regions that control the index finger and middle finger become fused, apparently because when one finger
hits a key in one of these fast-tempo movements, the other does so almost simultaneously, fooling the brain into thinking the two fingers are one. As a result of the fused brain regions, the pianist can no longer move those fingers independently of one another.

L ATELY, HOWEVER, scientists have begun to wonder whether the brain can change in response to purely internal, mental signals. That's where the Buddhists come in. Their centuries-old tradition of meditation offers a real-life experiment in the power of those will-o'-the-wisps, thoughts, to alter the physical matter of the brain.

"Of all the concepts in modern neuroscience, it is neuroplasticity that has the greatest potential for meaningful interaction with Buddhism," says neuroscientist Richard Davidson of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

The Dalai Lama agreed, and he encouraged monks to donate (temporarily) their brains to science. The result was the scans that Prof. Davidson projected in Dharamsala. They compared brain activity in volunteers who were novice meditators to that of Buddhist monks who had spent more than 10,000 hours in meditation. The task was to practice "compassion"meditation, generating a feeling of loving kindness toward all beings.

"We tried to generate a mental state in which compassion permeates the whole mind with no other thoughts," says Matthieu Ricard, a Buddhist monk at Shechen Monastery in Katmandu, Nepal, who holds a Ph.D. in genetics.

IN A STRIKING difference between novices and monks, the latter showed a dramatic increase in high-frequency brain activity called gamma waves during compassion meditation. Thought to be the signature of neuronal activity that knits together far-flung brain circuits, gamma waves underlie higher mental activity such as consciousness. The novice meditators "showed a slight increase in gamma activity, but most monks showed extremely large increases of a sort that has
never been reported before in the neuroscience literature," says Prof. Davidson, suggesting that mental training can bring the brain to a greater level of consciousness.

Using the brain scan called functional magnetic resonance imaging, the scientists pinpointed regions that were active during compassion meditation. In almost every case, the enhanced activity was greater in the monks' brains than the novices'. Activity in the left prefrontal cortex (the seat of positive emotions such as happiness) swamped activity in the right prefrontal (site of negative emotions and anxiety), something never before seen from purely mental activity. A sprawling circuit that switches on at the sight of suffering also showed greater activity in the monks. So did regions responsible for planned movement, as if the monks' brains were itching to go to the aid of those in distress. "It feels like a total readiness to act, to help," recalled Mr. Ricard.

The study will be published next week in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. "We can't rule out the possibility that there was a pre-existing difference in brain function between monks and novices," says Prof. Davidson, "but the fact that monks with the most hours of meditation showed the greatest brain changes gives us confidence that the changes are actually produced by mental training."

That opens up the tantalizing possibility that the brain, like the rest of the body, can be altered intentionally. Just as aerobics sculpt the muscles, so mental training sculpts the gray matter in ways scientists are only beginning to fathom.

Hi Iris,
thank you for writing again and sorry for not replying immediately. I am
overwhelmed with correspondence here, besides doing my regular work.

First, I am not the author of the article, it is J.F. Cogan who gave his
book as reference below the article.

I agree with certain statements in his article, but not with everything.
Same goes for what you write in your email.

I am not a trained shaman but understand myself as an energy healer. What I
know I learned through Spirit's guidance, personal observations and
practical experience. During healings and attunements, I often see that I
have to remove negative energy clusters, elementals, brain implants (often
mind control implants by "gurus", "black hat rinpoches", sect-leaders and
the forces behind them), cords and entities. Sometimes this entities are
very aggressive, I even encountered reptiles and worse life formes.
Usually, it is possible to remove this intrusions after friendly persuasion
and leading the intruders up to the Light, but sometimes not and we have a
battle. In such cases I call the patron of MPRUE, AA Metatron, and AA
Michael. Or even the Divine.
When the brain control implant is voluntary and connects the fanatic devotee
with his or her guru, then unless the devotee understands the situation and
accepts a decording, nothing can be (legally) done against the free will of
the victim.

I understand what you mean, but in the case of this article the author wrote
it for energy healers and not for the general public. I believe that a
honest teacher should be frank and call a dog a dog, and not an animal on
four legs that is barking and licking alternatively.

Yes, absolutely. One of my brain cancer patients was told by her doctor
after surgery that she will not become old (she is 30). After that she came
to me with a cancer growth that was bigger than the pre-operative one. I
released the psychological trauma that this doctor caused her and now she is
improving. :-)))

I agree, this statement disturbed me, too. But I am not changing or
censuring the content of the articles that I decide to publish. The article

POSSESSION AND EXORCISM IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

Pagan cultures surrounding the ancient Israelites appear to have been quite obsessed with the topics of possession and exorcism, with the exception of Judaism in the Middle East. The Old Testament of the Bible (Hebrew Scriptures) contain few references to demon possession and none at all to exorcism. In the few cases that can be found in these books of "evil spirits indwelling humans", it was always God who specifically sent an evil or lying spirit to torment individuals, however, it is speculated that these scriptures did originally contain descriptions of interactions between people and demons which have been deleted from the text. For example:

* The account in Genesis 32 of Jacob wrestling with an unknown assailant by the riverside may once have referred to Jacob battling a river demon.

* The story in Exodus 4 where God attempts to do away with Moses may originally have described Moses' battle with a demon.

* The description of the smearing of lambs' blood on the door frame in Exodus 12 might have been derived from an ancient ritual in which blood was smeared in order to protect the household from demonic attack.

These are of course simply suggestions and must remain conjecture as the topics of demonic spirit and/or exorcism are never directly referred to.

POSSESSION AND EXORCISM IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

Conversely, in the Gospels and Acts, there are numerous references to reports of demonic possession and exorcisms performed by Jesus and his disciples and these references can lead us to make certain conclusions about the exorcism process during the times of the Scriptures:

Cause of possession: In the Bible, victims of possession are never held responsible for their situation and there are no references in the Christian Scriptures that imply that possession has ocured as a result of sin in the victims life.

Animals may also become possessed: Matthew 8:30 and parallel passages describe that demons can possess pigs.

Multiple possession: Various passages refer to the possession of a single individual by multiple demons, for example Luke 8:30 which describes a man possessed by many demons, wherein the term "legion" was used. This term refers to a unit of 6,000 soldiers.

Gifts of Demons: Acts 16:16 tells of a woman who was given the power to foretell the future by her indwelling evil spirit, although this act would be an exception relating to a demon granting special powers as generally , in these passages, demons are shown to cause harm.

Illnesses and disorders generated by demons: Luke 9:39 describes a case of epilepsy caused by a demon. Luke 11:14 tells of a person who was unable to speak due to an indwelling demon. Luke 13: 10-13 describes a woman with a hunched back which had been that way for almost twenty years due to an evil spirit.

Demonic speech: Numerous passages in the Bible describe indwelling demons speaking to the exorcist, presumably by taking control of the individuals vocal chords.

Demonic strength: Mark 5:4 describes the way in which a demonic spirit causes its victim to have superhuman strength, so that fetters and chains could not hold him.

Demons vary in wickedness: Matthew 12:45 describes how a spirit left a person and returned with seven others who were all more wicked than the original.

Exorcisms were usually easy to perform: With one exception, Jesus or an apostle simply ordered the evil spirit to depart and the demon immediately complied.

Some exorcisms require special preparation: Jesus' disciples were unable to rid a boy of an evil spirit that apparently caused the child to be mute and epileptic. Jesus explained that the only way to rid a person of this type of demon was through prior prayer and fasting and then cured the child.

Using items of clothing: Acts 19:12 described how items of clothing or facecloths that once were used by Paul had magical powers and were used to cure people from suffering and rid them of evil spirits.

Only Christians can perform exorcisms: Acts 19:13 describes how 7 non-Christians attempted to exorcise demons in the name of Jesus and Paul. They failed and were all attacked and beaten by the demon-controlled man who ripped off their clothes.

Comanding in the name of Jesus: After Jesus execution, exorcisms were performed in the name of Jesus. Acts 16:16 described a slave girl who was possessed. Paul exorcised a "spirit of divination" from her by commanding the spirit to leave "In the name of Jesus". Acts 19:13 described how some itinerant Jewish exorcists attempted to exorcise a demon saying "in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." It is stated that they were unsucessful, apparently because they were not Christian believers.

Danger in exorcism: In Acts 19:13, the demon possessed man exhibited superhuman strength, turning on 7 Jewish exorcists and beating them, expelling them from the house with their clothes ripped off. Apparently once the evil spirit had recognised that the exorcists were not Christian; he refused to follow their commands.

The sick went to the exorcist: The sick were brought to the apostles; rather than the apostles seeking out the sick. With one exception they were all cured, whether suffering from physical illness or demon infestation. No one in the Bible was referred to as having an exorcism ministry.

Return of demons: Matthew 12:43 describes a demon who left a man, presumably because of an exorcism, later returning with seven other evil spirits to repossess the person. This being the case, however, there are no references to any of the exorcisms performed by Jesus or his followers as having produced only temporary cures.

Ecorcism is dependent upon the victims faith: Mark 9:18 Jesus explained to a man that all things are possible, including the exorcism of this mans son, to those who believe.

Similarities & Differences: PRANIC HEALING & REIKI
(c) By Master Stephen Co

REIKI is a very good healing modality that has helped many people, primarily through teaching those with little or no healing experience to access healing energies to help themselves and their loved ones. According to the REIKI Masters who have attended PRANIC HEALING classes (over 500 REIKI Masters have attended PRANIC HEALING classes since 1990 in the United States alone), as well as my own observations as a teacher and healer, here are some of the major differences between PRANIC HEALING and REIKI :

1. PRANIC HEALING is a complete nontouch system of healing. REIKI practitioners touch the body most of the time, but they also employ some non-touch techniques.

2. PRANIC HEALING teaches its students to "scan," or actually feel the aura, to assess areas of energetic depletion and congestion, or stagnation, which helps identify problem areas that need healing. REIKI doesn't use any energy assessment technique but relies on the intuition of the practitioner.

3. PRANIC HEALING employs a manual cleansing technique called "sweeping" to remove blockages and stagnant energies before giving fresh energy to the patient; REIKI has no comparable technique. PRANIC HEALING believes cleansing is critical to the healing process because diseased energies and negative emotions have to be first removed before energizing the body to or they may manifest physically - and sometimes dramatically - through vomiting, loose bowel movement, a rash, a flu or other symptoms. Such expelling is often labeled as a "detoxification," however, it is quite uncomfortable and can be prevented with proper cleansing. In fact, cleansing alone often allows the body to quickly heal itself by permitting fresh energy to penetrate deeper into the body to be utilized as healing fuel.

4. PRANIC HEALING employs a "cookbook" approach to healing. According to thousands of case reports gathered by the founder of PRANIC HEALING, Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui, every ailment produces a unique set of energy patterns that can be identified in the energy body's 11 major chakras and numerous meridians. REIKI has essentially one energy technique - facilitating the flow of REIKI energy into whatever area needs healing - to address all health problems. PRANIC HEALING, by contrast, uses specific energetic routines of cleansing and energizing that are matched to the specific patterns of energetic deficiencies caused by a particular illness. PRANIC HEALING, thus, offers a quicker, more targeted and more effective system of healing.

5. PRANIC HEALING teaches its practitioners to draw energy directly from the sun, air, ground and other spiritual sources and then project this prana into their subjects' auras. REIKI practitioners have to be "initiated" by a REIKI Master and given "symbols" to access the healing energies. It's similar to having to obtain a "password." PRANIC HEALING employs simple breathing and visualization exercises that allow anyone to heal immediately with minimal instruction.

6. PRANIC HEALING includes a practice called "energetic hygiene" that is rarely found in any healing modality, including REIKI . Energetic hygiene is a set of practices - breathing, dietary recommendations and other cleansing routines - that are designed to keep your personal energy tank clean and full. REIKI Masters attending PRANIC HEALING classes agree that energetic hygiene is one of the greatest benefits of the class, particularly the techniques that enable them to cleanse themselves of contaminating energy they pick up from clients and how to prevent subjects or negative people from draining their life force. This is particularly important for not only REIKI practitioners but also other healthcare providers because these people frequently experience the pain or the ailment of their subjects become drained and tired after healing someone.

7. PRANIC HEALING employs the use of color energies that dramatically accelerate the body's innate healing abilities. In fact, many REIKI Masters often say that if they have a subject who wants immediate relief or rapid healings they use PRANIC HEALING -- particularly, the colored pranic techniques. But, if they have a subject who simply wants a relaxing and soothing session, they use REIKI .

In summary, both PRANIC HEALING and REIKI are excellent healing modalities and help alleviate pain and suffering. However, PRANIC HEALING gives you the tools to produce faster and more immediate results while "immunizing" you against contamination from the people you are healing.

PRANIC HEALING complements any and all healing modalities. We always tell everyone, whatever your healing technique - shamanism, Native American techniques, Chinese chi kung, REIKI , massage therapy, chiropractic, Christian laying on of hands and even traditional orthodox medicine - PRANIC HEALING will complement and enhance it. We are here together to help create health and happiness for all.

Buddhist Meditation May Produce Lasting Changes in the Brain

Nov. 10, 2004 -- Meditation may not only produce a calming effect, but new research suggests that the practice of Buddhist meditation may produce lasting changes in the brain.
Researchers found that monks who spent many years in Buddhist meditation training show significantly greater brain activity in areas associated with learning and happiness than those who have never practiced meditation.
The results suggest that long-term mental training, such as Buddhist meditation, may prompt both short and long-term changes in brain activity and function.

Buddhist Meditation May Change the Brain

In the study, which appears in this week's online edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, researchers compared the brain activity of eight long-time Buddhist monks and 10 healthy students.
The average age of the monks was 49, and each had undergone mental training in meditation for 10,000 to 50,000 hours over the course of 15 to 40 years.
The students' average age was 21. They had no prior experience in meditation and received one week of meditative training before the start of the study.
Both groups were asked to practice compassionate meditation, which does not require concentration on specific things. Instead, the participants are instructed to generate a feeling of love and compassion without drawing attention to a particular object.
Researchers measured brain activity before, during, and after meditation using electroencephalograms.
They found striking differences between the two groups in a type of brain activity called gamma wave activity, which is involved in mental processes including attention, working memory, learning, and conscious perception.
The Buddhist monks had a higher level of this sort of gamma wave activity before they began meditation, and this difference increased dramatically during meditation. In fact, researchers say the extremely high levels of gamma wave activity are the highest ever reported.
The monks also had more activity in areas associated with positive emotions, such as happiness.

Researchers say the fact that the monks had higher levels of this type of brain activity before meditation began suggests that long-term practice of Buddhist or other forms of meditation may alter the brain.
Although age differences may also account for some of the differences found by this study, researchers say that the hours of meditation practice, rather than age, significantly predicted gamma wave activity.
Researchers say more studies are needed to look at whether differences in brain activity are caused by long-term meditation training itself or by individual differences before training.

Hi,
I did not say that genetics is the only determinating factor. But it is the major one...
Other factors that might contribute are stress, waste of personal energies, the quality of food, exercise, alcohol, nicotine, electromagnetic field interferences, personal environment, personal thought patterns, etc etc.
I just took the major factor and analysed it in 2001.
Warm regards,
Elisabeth

Your logic is flawed. There are many additional factors that contribute to a persons age and wellbeing and the issues of determing ageing from biology in your approach is not very scientific.

Aging - Thoughts about the individual speed of growing old

Dear friends,
we often wonder how one person looks much younger at a certain age than
another person, irrespetive of moderate variations in lifestyle and
smoking/drinking habits, workload, family life, etc.

Of course, genetics play a big role in the speed at which someone ages. Time
is only a relative factor, also at the cellular level, and also animals
perceive time at a different speed.

While brainstorming about that topic, I found a simple formula: Let us
imagine someone's parents from mother's side died from a natural death at
ages of 65 and 70, and from father's side at ages 55 and 80. Adding all that
together gives a total of 270 years. Divided by 4 (= 4 grandparents) gives
67.5 which means that the average expected life span of this person (person
# 1) is 67 years and 6 months, if all goes well and no accident or disease
shortens the genetically determined life span. One could do the same
calculations considering the parents of a person, for example they died of a
natural death at age 75 and 65, = 140 / 2 = 70 years expected genetical
natural life span.

Ok, let us compare person # 1 with person # 2 who for example had
grandparents dying of a natural death at ages 90, 80, 95 and 100. Now, that
gives an total sum of 365 and divided by 4 a genetical average of 91.25
which means that person # 2 has a genetically determined average life span
of 91 years and 3 months if all goes well.

Now, 100% of the lifespan for person # 1 is 67.5 years, and for person # 2
is 91.25 years. Means: Half the biological life is over at age 33 years and
9 months for person # 1 and for person # 2 at age 45 years and about 7
months (45.625).

According to my observations, people whose grandparents and parents had a
long life will look younger than a person at the same chronological age
whose grandparents and parents had a shorter natural life span.
When we take the example of persons #1 and # 2, person # 1 will look older
at the chronological age of 30 than person # 2 because biologically he/she
IS OLDER.

Any ideas, comments? Brainstorming is very welcome. :-)))

Warmest regards and love, Elisabeth

Accepting Your Healing

by Martin Brofman, Ph.D. Email: healer@..., Website: http://www.healer.ch

Each type of illness is associated with a particular way of being. There is a personality type associated with heart disease, there is another associated with cancer, another with nearsightedness, etc. The person’s way of being has had stress associated with it, and that stress has reached the physical level, manifesting as a symptom.

When someone wants to release a symptom, they must release the way of being that was associated with the symptom, and which, in fact, created it. Releasing the stress from the consciousness allows them to then have different perceptions, and a different way of being. There is a change in the nature of the bubble, the filter of perceptions through which they see the world. Said another way, since our perceptions create our reality, there is a change or movement from one bubble to another, from one reality to another, from one paradigm to another.

Thus, we can say that the process of healing implies a process of transformation. In the experience of this writer, recovery from catastrophic illness is always accompanied by a change in the person's way of being. They change, or else continue to manifest the symptoms until they die. Those who change are able to see things differently in their life, and to notice that things happen in ways different from before. They are able, through having different experiences, to define different beliefs. Or, they are able to first define different beliefs, and then have different experiences.

The important thing, in either case, is to release old perceptions that have been based on old experiences, if those perceptions have resulted in a tense way of interacting with the environment.

One way to achieve this reprogramming, this perception modification, is by recognizing the element of time as a possible distorting influence in our internal programs and perceptions, and choosing to not prejudice our positive view of the present and future by our negative experience of the past.

For example, someone might have a program in his or her human biocomputer that says, “Every time I see that person, I get a headache!” Then, given the person, the headache is expected, so that the individual has a chance to affirm that truth, the program that is believed to be true, and therefore, is true for them. Unfortunately, the program always results in a headache, so although the program is very effective and efficient, the result is something unpleasant.

To release the program while still acknowledging what is true, we can describe it as having been true in the past. Then, the program would say, “Every time that I have seen that person, I have gotten a headache - but the next time might be different. Perhaps the other person has realized the error of his or her ways, or has become enlightened, or transformed (it’s always a change in the other person). For the next time, I’ll see what happens and what is true then.”

Then, direct experience can show that something different is, in fact, true. “Wow! This person really is different - and actually, quite pleasant to be around! I’m sure I will never again get a headache from being around this person.” From that moment, with those words, a new belief is created, and new perceptions are allowed, and a new reality is created with the new belief.

If you are interested in experiencing the process of healing, and therefore, the process of transformation, what is particularly important is the way you describe yourself to yourself. This is because the words that you use to describe your experience create your reality, and you are interested in the creation of a different reality in which you feel better than you did before.

Thus, it’s important to pay attention to the words that you use to describe yourself. If you are describing some trait you do not find particularly successful (I’m shy, or afraid of success, or naturally irritable, etc.), then with your words, leave it in the past, making room for a different perception in the present, and also the future (“I was shy, or have been afraid of success, or had been irritable because I was not really being myself, etc.).

In that way, you will be able to more easily dis-identify with and therefore let go of old ideas, and old tensions associated with the symptoms to be released.

The same is true about the words you use to describe the symptom to be released. Consider the element of time, and be able to describe the symptom to yourself as you experience in the present moment. If you say, “It hurts all day,” you may not be noticing that, in fact, it doesn’t hurt so much right now. If you say, “The symptom comes and goes,” and if you do not experience it right now, you expect it to return. It is more effective to describe your experience in the present moment, acknowledging what is true now, and with a positive orientation toward a positive future (“It’s better now than it has been. In fact, it really seems to be getting better and better.”)

The positive mental attitude is, of course, an element useful for enjoying the best quality of life achievable. For the process of healing, however, it is essential.

Whatever you visualize, you improve the probability of happening. The images or pictures that you put into your consciousness have more of a tendency to happen. If you continue to put into your consciousness pictures of yourself suffering, you tend to continue that condition. It does not even matter what emotion you have with the picture - it is the picture that is important. Thus, if you have a picture of what you do not want, you are still having a tendency to fill your consciousness with that picture, and therefore, to create that.

It is important, then, to have in your consciousness a picture of the final positive result that you are working toward, as a reminder of your goal. When you are receiving a healing, optimally it should be with the expectancy of being healed. At the very least, it must not be with disbelief and resistance, which stop the process.

You do not have to believe in the method or system, but you must remain open to the possibility of it working for you. If you do believe in the healing, then during the healing you can remind yourself that your healing is happening now. After the healing has happened, you can see whether the results are partial or total, so far. Sometimes, the full effects of the healing are immediately apparent, although often there are continuing positive effects that manifest during the days or weeks following the healing act.

When the healing is total, and no symptoms are experienced, know that you are healed, and just get on with the rest of your life. When the full effects of the healing have not yet been experienced, it is important to continue to remind yourself that the healing has happened, and that the effects are on the way. Rather than continuing to see yourself in your old bubble, see yourself in your new bubble, the one you are moving toward. See yourself healed, in the future.

In changing your bubble, or moving from any one reality to any other, there are three steps:

1. Decide what will be true in the new reality.

For example, you can decide, “In the new reality, when the healing is complete, the pain will be gone,” or “Reading will be easier,” or “The tumor will be gone.”

2. Encourage the perception that it’s happening now.

While it’s true that you are moving toward some goal in the future, and holding the perception of success at some point in the future, the process of reinforcement must happen in the present moment. The idea is to examine your perceptions of what is happening now, in the moment of experience. “The pain now is less than it was before. The healing must be happening now,” or “The letters I see are a bit clearer now than before,” or “Perhaps the tumor is actually a bit smaller now. Anyway, my consciousness feels more clear now, so I know that something positive is happening.”

Positive thinking is not self-deception. Even when there are highs and lows in the experience of the symptoms, it’s important to see that the lows are where the highs used to be, so that even on your current worst days, you feel better than you used to feel on your previous best days. In other words, even on days when the symptoms are being experienced, it can be noticed that they are not so severe as before (when that is true), and you are thus able to hold a perception of a positive direction.

The idea is to give yourself reasons to believe in the process, while at the same time, acknowledging what is true, on the physical level. It is, after all, the measurement on the physical level that shows the effects of the work being done in the consciousness. Each improvement in the condition on the physical level should be acknowledged, and owned, as evidence that the healing is happening now.

If the conditions on the physical level have been measured as continuing to deteriorate, it must be clear that something has not been working, so that steps can be taken to correct the situation, and continue the healing process. Even this necessary correction can be seen as part of the healing, and in fact, it is. It brings the person one step closer to the final result of being healed.

3. Decide and know that now, it’s true.

You continue the encouragement process until you experience yourself symptom-free. When that happens, you must consider the possibility that you may never again experience that symptom. When the pain is gone, it may be gone for good. When you see clearly, you accept it as your new normal state. When the healing is complete, you must see yourself as healed, and in that way, we say that you own the healing. You identify the state of consciousness you experience, and your view of the world from that state of consciousness, as normal and usual for you, even if it is your new normal way of being.

If the symptom was evidenced on the basis of medical tests, look forward to new tests that show you as free of those symptoms. After all, healed is healed, and on all levels. If the tests show improvement, but not yet total results, know that you are moving in a positive direction, and that there is still a bit further to go. If you have been working on yourself, continue, accepting the progress you have made thus far. If you have been working with others healing you, you can know that it was a partial healing, and that the next one can take you further along, or be the one that is the last you will ever need.

When you have the feedback on the physical level that shows the effects of the healing work you have been doing, accept it and trust it, and when you have a clean bill of health, find other things to do with your consciousness than correcting problems. Get creative, and set goals, watching them manifest, creating with the tools you have learned to use, a life in which you are happy and fulfilled.

In fact, you may consider sharing your success story with others. Many healers and teachers of healing have started on this path through the necessity of healing themselves. Thus, when they share their stories, it is from their personal experience.

That was the way it worked for me. Perhaps it can work that way for you, too.

Let everyone know that anything can be healed.

Accepting Your Healing

by Martin Brofman, Ph.D. - http://www.healer.ch - healer@...

Through The Tunnel

A Personal Account of NDE by a Walk-In

I was at the Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. I had just been told that I had a "blockage" in my spinal cord, from the fourth to the seventh cervical vertebrae at the level of the neck, that had been responsible for the symptoms I had been experiencing. My right arm was paralyzed, my legs were spastic, and there were sensations like electric shocks running through my body when I moved my head.

I was told that I had to have an operation immediately, and that if I lived through the operation, I might come out of it a quadriplegic. When I asked if I had time for a second opinion, I was told that if I coughed or sneezed at that time, I might die. Naturally, I agreed to have the operation in a few hours.

I realized that according to what the doctors had said, I might be dead in a few hours. I went through the stages that many people go through when they know they are about to die. First, there was the sense that this was a movie set, and that these things were not really happening to me. I found myself negotiating with what was happening, bargaining if I could, for something different to happen. Slowly, the realization that it was real, and happening to me, came closer and closer, until I had to emotionally accept that I might very soon be dead.

When I accepted the unacceptable, my body shook violently as an intensity of energy moved through me. I opened more and more to it, and after one or two very long minutes it was complete. I felt a calm inside that I had not known before. All my senses were sharper. My vision was clearer. Colors were brighter. Hearing was clearer. Sensations were more alive.

I realized that I had released a perceptual filter that had been standing between me and the experience of life, and ironically, it had been the fear of death. Now that I had released that fear, I was experiencing more of life, more of being alive, even if just for a short while longer.

I thought of the life I had lived, and the things I could have done but didn't, and I found myself saying to myself, "I wish I had." There were a lot of "I wish I hads." I thought to myself that it was, in fact, a sad way to end a life, and that if I had to do it again, there would be a lot of "I'm glad I dids."

I had to decide what I wanted to do with the short time I had left. If I spent my remaining time worrying or feeling bad about what was, in fact, inevitable, I would have just wasted the rest of my life, thrown it away, and it was too valuable for that.

I decided to spend my remaining time feeling good, and just thinking of things that helped me to feel good - the color of the paint on the walls, the smell of flowers in the room, anything positive. I knew I could always find something.

Finally, the time came. I was taken to the operating room, and as I was being given the anesthetic, I thought that this might be the last experience I would ever have. I had no idea what might come afterwards. I had been agnostic, with no beliefs, believing in nothing that I had not experienced. Perhaps the next step after death was just oblivion.

I let go.

I began to experience a vertigo, a sense of spinning, and it didn't feel good, so I stabilized myself in the center of it until I was still, and everything else was spinning around me. I was moving through the spinning scenes, which were memories from the life I had lived, memories which were calling for my attention. If I put my attention on them, though, I felt myself "pulled," because I was moving through these spinning memories, like being pulled through a tunnel, or falling down a well, but discovering that half-way down the well. Reaching for the walls would not work. My only hope would be to aim for the water at the bottom.

I had to withdraw my attention from these scenes, then, these memories, and put my attention on the place to which I was being drawn, aiming for it. I was headed there anyway, but aiming for it gave me more of a sense of being in the driver's seat, and that was a lot more comfortable for me. It was a bit like riding a roller coaster in the front car, and pretending that you're driving the thing along the tracks. It gives a totally different ride, I can assure you, than being swept out of control.

The ride was long, but I had nothing else to do but go for it. Finally, the end of the tunnel was in sight. I came out into a kind of space, a stillness, where there was a glow of energy addressing me. It was like a spark of life, energy glowing with intelligence, not in a human form, just pure consciousness. It seemed that some distance away, there was another spark just observing the scene.

I felt as though I were having an exit interview, something like, "Well, your trip is over now, so complete things in your consciousness about that, and we'll move on." I looked back and saw my life as I had lived it, completed my thoughts about things that had happened, understood a lot of things differently, and then expressed that I was ready.

The Being began to move away. I began to follow, and then I paused. The Being quickly asked me what the thought was that had just entered my consciousness. I had thought that it would be a shame for my daughters to have grown up without their father in their life. I had spent a large part of my life without my father in it, and I would have liked my daughters to not have to have experienced that. Anyway, I was ready to go.

The Being said that because my reason for wanting to return was somebody outside myself, I would be allowed to return. Before I had the chance to express that I didn't really want to return, there was a rapid, confused movement, something happened, the other spark which had been "observing" was somehow a part of it, and then I was waking up in this body, in traumatic pain, with intense drama going on around me in the hospital.

I felt as if I had just jumped into a movie that had been underway, but that I had not been the one in the body before this moment. Because of the trauma and the drama, my attention was directed to things happening in the physical world, and the memory of what had happened before was somehow obliterated. I had other things happening which were demanding my attention, and besides, I did not have the belief systems that would allow me to accept what had just happened.

Over the next year, I began to explore ideas and philosophies I had no experience of before. I read books like "Life After Life," and "Life After Death," and other writings which described what people called, "Near Death Experiences," and I began to remember what had happened. I saw the similarities to what others had experienced, and I knew then what had happened to me. I thought also of the similarities to what we consider the "normal" birth process, where babies are born into bright lights and loud sounds and being slapped, and perhaps, their attention is so much directed to outer things that they forget their inner experiences just before the process of being born.

From time to time, I meet others who have made the trip, and we compare notes. "What was it like for you?" One woman said that before, she was certain there would be a Being on the other side with a big book, looking at what she had and had not done, and making checks and crosses, good marks and bad marks. When she got to the other side, there really was a Being there with a big book, just as she thought there would be. The only bad marks she got, though, were for the things that she hadn't done. Her only sin was self-denial.

My diagnosis on leaving the hospital was "Spinal Cord Tumor." There was no treatment possible. I was given one or two months to live, and I decided to do that living my new philosophy of "I'm glad I did." I decided to work on myself, working in my consciousness to release the tumor. Later, the doctors decided that they must have made a mistaken diagnosis.

But that's another story.

PURSUING POSTMENOPAUSAL ZEST
by Peggy Carey

Postmenopausal zest is a phrase coined by anthropologist Margaret Mead. It
is a time when we are not concerned about birth control, PMS, painful
cramps or other monthly inconveniences. “This”, she says, “is freedom.” It
is a stage of life that is free of many encumbrances and full of wonderful
possibilities. We are still young enough to live life to its fullest and
enjoy all the good things nature has provided us. During this period a lot
of women experience a renewed zest for life, rejuvenated sexual desire, and
look for exhilarating new adventures or new beginnings. It is like starting
life all over with a better set of rules. If you haven’t done it before, it
is time to take charge of your own health.

Create your zest by paying attention to diet (Oriental women don’t have a
word for hot flash), by doing things that make you feel good about yourself,
and by learning how to use herbs and natural hormones for hormonal
balancing, and essential oils for optimum psychological health and libido.
There are many such natural aids from which to choose. You’ll probably need
to experiment a little to find the ones that are the most effective for you.
Pregnenolone is one of the newest hormones to become available and is one of
the most versatile. The body easily converts pregnenolone into DHEA,
progesterone, and even estrogen and testosterone. The hormone conversion
happens on an as-needed basis, and therefore, not likely to cause side
effects. Also, helpful are creams and tinctures that contain wild yam, clary
sage, black cohosh, blue cohosh, and fennel.

Taking new adventures into the bedroom can be as easy as stocking up on
sensual massage oils and therapeutic quality erotic essential oils. Mutual
massages with the right blend of aromatic oils can ignite your love life.
Get prepared for a romantic evening by taking a geranium and clary sage bath
as these two oils are “hormone regulators” and can work on a mental level to
harmonize emotions. Oils that can have a positive effect on sex hormones are
rosewood, pine, patchouli, lemon, jasmine, clary sage, and bergamot. Rose
and lavender are good because they can relieve stress.

Since the olfactory nerves (the nerves in the nose) are directly connected
to the limbic system of the brain, their stimulation by the aroma of
essential oils causes immediate, although perhaps subconscious, physical,
and emotional responses. Within the limbic system resides the regulatory
mechanism of our highly sensitive inner life, the core of our being. This
part of the brain not only controls our drives of hunger, thirst, and sex,
but more subtle responses of emotion, memory, creativity, and intuition as
well as reproductive cycles. Here is the origin of our sexuality, the
impulse of attraction and aversion, motivation and our moods. Most
postmenopausal women are alarmed when they see a change in one or more of
these areas and are anxious to find remedies to reverse these symptoms.
Nature has been most generous in providing these remedies without side
effects.

Olfactory membranes contain millions of nerve endings causing the sense of
smell to be the most acute of all senses. Inhaling oils triggers a chain of
internal reactions with a wide range of results from the release of
endorphins (powerful mood elevating substances that reduce pain and
stimulate sexual feelings) to boosting the immune system. Smells also cause
the release of other neurotransmitters including encephaline which reduces
pain, produces pleasant euphoric sensations and creates a feeling of
well-being, and serotonin, a relaxing and calming substance. Accessing the
limbic system with oils gives one amazing control over functions of the mind
and body. Since most therapeutic grade oils smell good, it is a fun way to
put the zest back into your life.

Loss of sexual desire or reduced enthusiasm for life itself can be caused by
depression or medical conditions as well as the medications that are
prescribed for these conditions. Certain antidepressants, blood pressure
lowering drugs, and pain medications can lower sex drive. Many people have
been able to avoid using prescription drugs or at least reduce the dose by
using essential oils and herbs. Nutritional supplements that have been
enhanced with essential oils to increase absorption by the body are very
useful to help avoid problems caused by aging and to maintain youthful
function of all the body’s systems.

The pituitary, also known as the master gland of the endocrine system, is
responsible for controlling hormone production of other glands. There is an
association between an underactive pituitary gland and a decreased interest
in sex. Essential oils have the ability to stimulate the pituitary gland as
well as the hypothalamus. Oils that affect the pituitary and, therefore, are
considered an aphrodisiac are clary sage, jasmine, patchouli, and ylang
ylang.

Aphrodisiacs are substances that are capable of enhancing sexual pleasure or
sexual desire. Certain essential oils can be considered aphrodisiacs since
they have the potential to affect the circulatory, hormonal, and the nervous
systems. The best aphrodisiac will impact the brain, since as we said
before, this is where the sexual center is located.

A blend of the erogenous, stimulating or calming, and euphoric essential
oils would make a well-rounded aphrodisiac synergy. Jasmine is the most
sought after fragrance in the perfume industry because it has a very
erogenous effect on humans. Other oils that have been considered as having
aphrodisiac properties are clary sage, black pepper, ginger, fennel,
frankincense, geranium, hyssop, juniper, myrrh, patchouli, rose, rosemary,
sandalwood, and ylang ylang.

Our erotic life is much influenced by odor. Pheromones, hormone-like
substances in one’s personal odor, influence partner choice in humans as
well as in animals. Since many essential oils contain pheromones, they
affect our sensuality. Personal attraction and aversion are always
influenced by odor. Without the ability to smell there would be little
attraction. Many people who experience smell disorders also lose interest
in sex. Therefore, keeping your sinuses healthy could be the hidden key in
creating a healthy sex life.

One of the most important factors in attaining post-menopausal zest is
ATTITUDE. The following is a list of oils that could make you feel like the
best time of life is NOW. For creativity use clary sage, helichrysum, rose,
and rosewood; depression eliminators - bergamot, clary sage, frankincense,
geranium, lavender, lemon, sandalwood, tangerine, vetiver, ; happiness and
joy - bergamot, orange, rose; love - juniper, lavender, rose, ylang ylang;,
confidence - jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, peppermint, rosemary, ylang
ylang; self esteem - marjoram, patchouli; serenity and tranquility -
bergamot, elemi, ginger, lavender, rose, valerian, Roman chamomile.

Recent research shows that sex can improve your health, strengthen your
immune system, and prevent the onset of disease. When your sex life as well
as your energy level is enhanced by therapeutic aromatherapy can zest be far
behind?

Owning Your Power
by Martin Brofman, Ph.D.

Owning your power, your power to be real, to be who you really are, is
really about owning your freedom. Consider how your reasons for not being
yourself may have been to get the love or approval of others. Then, you have
given others the power to decide your way of being, and thus keeping
yourself from being free. In many ways, you have been giving away your
power/freedom by your ways of speaking and thinking, and being.

For example, when you say or think something like, "That person makes me
angry," you have given your power/freedom to decide whether or not to be
angry, to that person. You have said that you are powerless, and that that
person has the power to decide when you will be angry.

You can choose to not do that any more.

It would be more appropriate to say something like, "I get angry when that
person does that." In that way, you get to see that you are the one that has
made you angry, and also that you can decide to feel that, or something
else.

No one but you "makes you" feel angry, or sad, or depressed, or happy, or
sexy, or bored, etc. Since you are now in the process of deciding for
yourself about your life, and your choices, and your actions, and your
feelings, and what you see, why not own your decision-making power on all
levels?

Be aware of the words that you use, because they do form the basis of your
thought patterns. Listen to your words, and notice whether they reflect your
freedom to decide for yourself what you feel or do.

Do you say, "Let me do this," asking for permission, or do you express your
desires by saying, "I would like to do this," or even "I am going to do
this?" Do you say, "That person manipulated me," or "I allowed myself to be
manipulated?" Whatever you have been doing that has not been working for
you, you can choose to not do any more.

Have you kept yourself from expressing what you really wanted to because of
what you thought someone else would think? Then, you have given control of
your power of speech to that person.

You are free, you know. Are you willing to own your freedom?

Have you kept yourself from looking at something or someone because of what
another person might think? Then, you have given your freedom of choice to
see what you want, to that person.

Have you kept yourself from doing what you want because of what another
person would think? You have given away your freedom of action. You have
kept yourself from speaking, from acting, from seeing what was real for you.
Clear vision is related to allowing yourself to be real, and trusting that -
in fact, insisting on that.

In owning your freedom, you must also be willing to recognize others'
freedom. No one gives you your freedom - it's already yours. It's just up to
you to be free. In the same way, you do not give others their freedom. You
may only acknowledge that they have it.

When you do something, others are free to feel about it as they choose. For
you, though, you are just being real, and acting with love and freedom as
your motivations. If you are misunderstood, you can choose to clear the
misunderstanding through communication. It is not necessary for you to
change your way of Being because of the way another feels. If you choose to
change, it must be because it makes sense to you to do things another way.

In the same way, if another person does something that you choose to feel
not-good about, that's your choice. That person, too, is free. If the
not-good feeling is the result of a misunderstanding, it can be cleared
through communication. Don't assume anything. Ask, and then know.

If the not-good feeling is the result of attachments you need to release on
your path to clarity and freedom, you can find another way of thinking and
feeling that feels better for you, one in which you are not deciding what
the other person should do differently, but rather what you need to do
differently.

If you expect the other person to change their way of Being because of the
way you feel, then you are wanting to control that person. If you don't want
to be controlled, are you willing to stop controlling?

Perhaps in the past, when you've looked at a situation which you did not
consider optimal, you've decided what someone else should have done
differently, or should do differently in the future. When you really own
your power and your freedom, you do not do that any more - rather, you only
decide what you could have done differently then, and what you can do
differently from now on, in the future. When you are sincere about this,
your thoughts are included in the process, as well. As long as you find
yourself thinking what other people should do, or think, or feel, you have
not totally owned your power or your freedom.

If you want to own your freedom, are you willing to recognize others'
freedom as well? Then, you also see that you do not make others sad, but
they may decide to feel that way when you do something. You do not make them
happy, either - they choose to feel that when you do something.

No matter what you do, or say, some people will approve, and others will
not. You have the freedom to decide which people you will be with. If you
choose to be with those who judge you, you may feel like a weed in a garden,
constantly feeling as though you need to defend yourself and your way of
Being.

You can choose instead to be okay with being judged, knowing that you're
just being who you are, and that others are free to feel what they like
about that. They may be judging you by their standards, but you are living
by your own standards. You can also choose to be with those people who do
not judge you, but rather appreciate you for who you are. You can then feel
freer, and more relaxed about being real, being who you really are. You'll
see that you weren't a weed, but rather just a flower in the wrong garden.

Perhaps in the past you've tended to change yourself, to be someone
different from who you really are, in order to be loved, in order to get
love. If you would like to know that you're loved for whom you are, then you
have to be who you really are, and let that be the image that's loved.

Love can not be solicited. It must flow freely, and be freely given. Then,
you know that it's real. If you create an image in order to be loved, and
people love the image, you still do not feel loved for who you really are.

If the expressions of love are solicited, asked for, then you do not really
know that they would be there if you did not ask for them. You would still
not be sure of the love. Notice when the expressions of love come freely
from others, when you're being real. Then, you'll know that they come
because the others choose to express their love, and you'll know it's real.
When you know the love is there, open and feel it.

Sometimes, expressions of love are misunderstood, because we've all been
taught different ways of expressing the love that we feel. The way some
people express their love is sometimes misunderstood as love being taken
away. The misunderstandings can be resolved through communication, though,
so that expressions of love afterwards can be those which enhance the
experience of the person receiving them, something that feels good for them.

Remember to express your love in that way, too. Express your love in the way
that you would like others to express their love with you, in a way that
results in their feeling good, in a way that you would be happy to be on the
receiving end of.
You have the power/freedom to be who you really are, to be where you really
want to be, with whom you would really like to be (if they would really like
to be with you), doing what you would really like to do. Others, too, have
the same power/freedom.

If you find yourself not honestly able to say, "I love where I am. I love
who I'm with. I love what I'm doing," then something has to change. You have
the power/freedom to make that change.

If it's a situation in which you do not feel happy, you have three choices:

1. Change the situation. Re-arrange it.
2. Change the way you see the situation.
2. Leave the situation, and find another.

If the situation, for example, is your job, you can change it so that
you're doing something there that's more meaningful for you. Or, you can
look at it in another way that feels better for you so that you feel happy
in it (but it must be real for you). If you do not do either of these, then
perhaps you need to be doing something different, in a different job, so
that you can look forward each day to spending time and energy there.

If it's your home, does it feel like home to you? If not, re-arrange it so
that it does. Otherwise, choose to see it as really perfect for you right
now. Otherwise, move.
If you really believe that these changes are too vast for you, that you
"can't" make them, you have given away your power/freedom. It isn't that you
are not able to make the changes, but rather that you have chosen not to.
You still have the power to create your life the way you would really like
it to be. You have the power/freedom to change what has not been working for
you, to change that which has not resulted in your being as happy as you
would like to be.

Do you find yourself with people you do not really enjoy being with? If so,
you have given away your power to be happy to them.

You don't have to do that any more.

If you have given away your power, you can take it back. It's still yours.
Own it.
Your power/freedom also includes your choice to change those patterns
within yourself that you recognize have not been optimal, that have been the
result of misperceptions, limited ways of seeing.

Your attachments and addictions stand between you and freedom. When you are
free, you are able to decide in each moment what you would like to do, and
what makes sense to do. You do not allow yourself to be controlled by past
programs.

When you are addicted to something, and you don't get it, you feel
not-good. The degree of the not-good feeling shows the degree of attachment
or addiction. You can choose to not give your power to your attachments, or
to the object of your attachments. Non-attachment is freedom.

It isn't detachment. Detachment is removal of all feelings. Non-attachment
allows positive feelings of joy when you have. When there's something you
don't have, you are able to focus your attention on what you do have.

If, for example, you are attached to a lobster dinner, and you don't get
it, you are not free to enjoy what you do have. When you are not attached,
you can enjoy a salad, or a steak, and if you have a lobster, really enjoy
it, too.

If you're attached or addicted to a person, when you're with them, you're
spending time worrying about when you will not be with them, and when they
are not there, you spend your time missing them, and not being present with
the people who are with you. That isn't freedom.

You have the power and the freedom to be totally present wherever you are,
enjoying whatever is happening.

Others do not have to change their way of Being because of your
attachments, and you don't have to change your way of Being because of the
addictions of others.

You take total responsibility for yourself, and everything you think, do,
and say - and you acknowledge that others have the responsibility for
everything they choose to think, do, or say.

Do not decide what other people think, or will do in any given situation,
because actually, you don't really know - that's their responsibility. You
just need to examine your own consciousness, and what happens in it.

Others are free to want what they want, and you are free to say yes or no
to that. It's okay for them to want, and it's okay for you to not want. In
the same way, you are free to want what you want, and they are free to not
want the same thing. When you both want the same thing, there is free
agreement, and then something can happen.
Otherwise, you can agree to disagree, and each of you can find happiness and
satisfaction in your own respective ways.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and to their own thoughts and
wishes - and you are free.

Review your movie, the one in which you are not only the star, but also the
director. Be the audience too. What were the effects of your actions and
words? Could you have written a better script for yourself? If so, what
would you have done differently? Could you have acted with more love, more
understanding? Replay the situation in your mind, doing it differently, and
see the different ending. Decide that if the situation presents itself
again, you will replay it in the new way. Dedicate yourself to the decision.
Then, you have changed yourself for the better, because it was your choice,
and you've learned what you needed to.

You must also realize that things happened the way they had to, with the
chemistry of the people involved, in order to have the result that needed to
happen. Next time, however, you'll be able to achieve the same result more
harmoniously.

Continue to do this until you are honestly able to give your movie and your
character great reviews. If you saw that movie in a theater, you would have
thought it a fabulous movie, with an inspirational star - you! You would
have recommended the movie to your friends, and enjoyed seeing it again.

Notice what your reasons are for doing things. What are your motivations?
In a given situation, are you making the fear choice or the freedom choice?
Are you doing things because that's what you really choose to do, or are you
doing things (or not doing things) because of fear? Trust your instincts,
and what's real for you, and do what you really want to do.

Did you keep yourself from being who you really are because you thought you
had to, and find out afterwards that you didn't really have to? Then, the
basis for your decision and your action was fear. Make a decision that you
don't have to do that any more. You can be who you really are, and people
will enjoy you even more. When you do what you really want to do, something
wonderful always happens.

Is love your motivation, or is it guilt? Do you do things to avoid feeling
guilty, because you would feel guilty not doing them? Or do you act clearly,
doing what you really want to do, as an expression of love?

If you have been having fear or guilt as your motivations, do you want to
continue that way? You don't have to, you know.

You can make a conscious choice, a deep decision, to not have fear or guilt
or anger controlling your life, but rather to act as a free conscious Being.
When you do that, then from that moment on, if you discover that your
decision to be a certain way, or do (or not do) a certain thing is based on

fear, guilt, or anger, you dedicate yourself to making a different decision.
Then, you are not allowing yourself to be controlled by past patterns of
being or doing, but really living your freedom.

You really are free. You just have to own your freedom, and be free. Not
only will you feel better and enjoy your life a lot more, but you will also
be releasing patterns which were associated with the impaired vision. You
will truly be returning to clarity.

You're free to think the way you choose, and love the way you choose, and
act the way you choose.

People who love you enjoy seeing you happy the way you really like to be
happy, being the fullest expression of your Being, being real, being all
that you can be. People who love you really want to see you being
successful.

  It's up to you, though.

You have the power and the freedom to be real, to be happy, to be
successful, to be fulfilled.

See clearly what is real for you.

And live it.

While we've been taught that it's a good thing to be ourselves - necessary,
in fact - we have also been taught in so many ways that we have to not be
ourselves in order to please other people, and that it's a good thing to
please other people, to make others happy.

Then, it seems to be a choice between making others happy, on the one hand,
and being ourselves, making ourselves happy, on the other hand.

If you have been choosing to not be yourself so that others would be happy,
you have decided that pleasing others was more important than really being
yourself. That was a beautiful expression of your love, but at a high cost
to you, and your ease of Being, and your health. Ease of Being is associated
with health. Not being yourself requires an investment in energy, which is
also known as stress, an unhealthy element from anyone's point of view.

What makes more sense is to shift your priorities so that being real is more
important - and, in fact, a necessary part of any healing process.

You can still enjoy expressing your love in any way that works for you, and
yet knowing the importance of being real. Being yourself. All the time.

With clarity, and love.

HEALING AND TRANSFORMATION

Every symptom has a certain way of being with which it is associated.

In order to release a symptom, one must release the way of being associated
with it.
Thus, the process of healing implies a process of transformation.

Anything can be healed.

ONE OR TWO MONTHS TO LIVE

When I had terminal cancer in 1975, I had been told that I had one or two
months to live, and that the end might come very suddenly, any moment, if I
coughed or sneezed. I was faced with a reality in which each day was
possibly my last day, each hour my last hour, and I recognized that for
whatever limited time I had remaining, I wanted to be happy.

Living a compromise made no sense to me. Since each meal was possibly the
last one I would ever have, I wanted to eat whatever I had an appetite for,
whatever my body was asking for. It didn't make sense to me to eat food I
didn't enjoy just because someone else thought it would be healthy for me.
Their loving intentions were recognized, but I knew it was not my way. My
path to health had to include a sense of enjoyment in all that I did, and I
had to be true to myself, to be real. I had to believe in the recovery
process.

REPRIEVE !

Then, it was suggested to me that the cancer was the result of a process
that had been going on in my consciousness, and that I could use my
consciousness to get rid of it. My consciousness had been the effect of
programming, in the same way that the results that a computer produces are
the effects of the way had been programmed. I could reprogram my
consciousness.

I was presented with the idea that our perceptions create our reality, and I
realized that I had to reprogram my consciousness to create the perception
that I was well. I was not prepared for such an abrupt shift from the
perception of being terminally ill, but I realized that I could much more
easily create the perception that I was getting better and better, until I
was indeed well.

I had had the perception that I was in a state of deterioration, getting
closer and closer to dying, and I knew that if I were to have as the end
result the perception that I was well, I would have to change from getting
worse and worse to getting better and better. I also knew that the
turn-around could happen in any moment. It was a matter of turning a switch
in my mind, and insisting on knowing that it had been turned. I decided that
if the moment of change could be any moment, then let it be now.

THE CHANGE

I felt a shift in my consciousness, and I knew then that I was in a state of
improvement. I also knew the importance of maintaining the integrity of that
decision, and of that moment. I knew that all of my perceptions had to
reinforce the idea that I was now getting better and better. For example, I
could remind myself as I ate whatever food I wanted, that it was exactly
what my body needed to accelerate the healing process.

Physical sensations that felt like electric shocks in my body, which before
had reinforced the idea that the tumor was growing, now had to be perceived
as evidence that the tumor was shrinking. My mind looked for more and more
ways of knowing that the improvement was happening.

I knew I had to stay away from those people who insisted on seeing me as
still terminal, not from any lack of love, but just to maintain my own
positive attitude toward my healing process. I had to be with people who
were willing to encourage me on this seemingly impossible task I had set for
myself. When I was asked how I was doing, I insisted on answering, "Better
and better," and seeing how that was, in fact, true.

I knew that it was vital to maintain the positive programming, and that
putting myself in a relaxed state of mind and talking positively to myself
for fifteen minutes, three times each day, was a part of the programming
process I should in no way interfere with. There were temptations to not do
the relaxations, and then I would remind myself that my life was at stake.
Any temptation, then, was something that stood between me and my life, and
had to be removed, so that I could live.

HOLDING THE PERCEPTION

At first, it was very difficult. I found that the integrity of the moment of
change was easily compromised, by my thoughts or words acknowledging
anything other than the idea that I was improving, and I had to be honest
with myself, and see that, and then know that I had "blown it." Then, I
could tell myself that what had happened was just a practice run, and that
the real moment of change was now.

It got easier and easier. I was able to maintain integrity for just hours at
first, then a day, then two days, and then I was solid. I knew the program
was working. I was able to recognize the doubting voice inside, and know
that it did not represent truth. I was able to identify with the encouraging
voice. It became my guide, leading me back to stable health. I was more and
more able to maintain the single-pointedness of knowing that positive
changes were happening. When I was not feeling a symptom, I told myself that
perhaps now I would never feel that symptom again. If I experienced the
symptom after that, I told myself that the process was just not yet
complete, and that indeed I was feeling the symptom less than I had before.

I had to know that positive changes were happening now, possibly just at the
threshold of notice-ability, so I could eagerly anticipate evidence to
justify my perceptions. Naturally, I was always able to find something, and
so assure myself that it was not something I was just imagining, but real,
and more strength was added to the process.

THE PROGRAM

During my relaxation periods, I imagined seeing the tumor which had been
located in my spinal cord in the neck, and imagined that I was watching one
layer of cancer cells dying, and being released, to be discarded by my
body's natural elimination system. I knew that the change, perhaps not yet
noticeable, was still definite. I knew that each time I released waste
products from my body, the dead cancer cells were being eliminated, and I
reminded myself of that each time. I insisted on knowing that it was true.

I knew that cancer represented something held in and not expressed, and
since the tumor was located by my throat chakra (energy center), I had been
holding back the expression of my Being. Since I wasn't quite sure what that
meant, though, I decided that it was imperative that I express everything.
Every thought, every feeling, whatever was in my consciousness that wanted
to come out, I expressed, knowing that it was vital for my health. Before, I
had had the perception that expressing led to discord, but now I saw that
what I was expressing was appreciated by those around me, that expressing
and communicating led to harmony.

Before, I had had the belief that if I expressed what I really wanted to,
something bad would happen. I had to reprogram that to the belief that if I
expressed what I really wanted to, something wonderful would happen. I made
that decision, and it was so.

I found myself having less and less in common with my old friends. It was as
though we had shared a common vibrational frequency before, say 547 cycles,
whatever that means, and suddenly I found myself at 872 cycles, having few
things to communicate with the 547-cycle people. I had to find new friends
who were also at 872, to have someone to talk with.

I found myself attracted to the 872 crowd, and them to me, as though I had
become selectively magnetic, and certain elements of my reality were being
released which were no longer in accord with the new Being I was becoming. I
knew the process was inevitable, and should not be interfered with. I
developed a sense of compassion and understanding at that time. I knew that
my life depended on releasing all elements of my life not in accord with my
new vibration. The process was simple, though not always easy.

I began each day as a process of self-discovery, with no preconceived notion
of who I was, yet with a willingness to discover the emerging Being, and a
sense of delight with each new discovery.

I imagined the scene that would happen in the doctor's office after my work
on myself was done. I could see him examining me, and finding no tumor,
being puzzled. He might say, "Perhaps we made a mistake." I played the scene
in my mind each day, in my relaxation periods.

I had heard that within the technology of mental programming, if I talked to
myself for fifteen minutes three times each day, within 66 days, I could get
myself to believe anything, and that whatever I believed to be true, would
be true.

About two months after I started working on myself, I went to be examined by
the doctor who had pronounced me terminally ill. On the way to the doctor, I
knew that I had to maintain the perception that everything was all right. I
replayed the scene in my mind, knowing it would happen like that.

Finally, the moment of truth arrived. The doctor examined me, and found
nothing. He said, "Perhaps we made a mistake." I laughed all the way home.

TRANSFORMATION

I have transformed my way of Being. My lifestyle has changed dramatically.
It no longer makes any sense to work in any nine-to-five job, or to call any
other Being my "superior," since we are all equal Beings, and all with
infinite potential. I “retired” from Wall Street at the age of 38 with
nothing but the dedication to the idea of doing what I really want to do and
not doing what I really do not want to do, and trusting my trip, listening
to my inner voice. It’s a decision I have never regretted.

With what I learned of the body/mind relationship from my experience and the
research I did during my own healing process, I developed a model of healing
as a way to organize in my own mind what had happened for me, and what had
worked.
I gradually became involved in healing others when conditions seemed to
demand that, and in doing that I saw more and more examples of the body/mind
interface covering many other symptoms. The model of healing I was using
became more and more coherent and multi-dimensional.

I discovered the joy of sharing my experiences and ideas with others, and
watching them benefit as they put the ideas to work in their own lives.

The work I do now as a healer and teacher is meaningful to me, important to
others as well, and is of service to humanity, and I feel a "high" when I do
it. I have a strong sense of doing my life's work. I know that I am doing
what I came to this planet to do. I know it's right. It's not a feeling that
I had had before.

The process of transformation is an integral part of the healing process,
whether the Being is healing his/her vision or releasing some serious
illness, and indeed also even when the out-of-balance condition has not
reached the physical level, yet still exists on the mental or emotional
level.

It is for those of us who recognize the process to encourage it, and assist
it where we can, so that the planetary transformation now taking place
within the individuals inhabiting it may be hastened, and made as gentle as
possible.

Illness or injury shows on the physical level, metaphorically, what has been
happening in the consciousness of the Being experiencing the symptoms. It is
related to that person's way of Being. Once the elements of a person's Being
that relate to their physical out-of-balance condition are identified, they
can be changed, and health and balance on all levels can be restored.

When we see the physical body as a map of the consciousness that wears it,
and always balanced to it, we can also see that a change in one implies a
change in the other. When a healing happens, a change in personality may be
expected to reflect the change in the physical Being, and vice verse.
The "new" individual will have the same Essence of Being, yet with a
different way of interacting with the environment, without what had been
excessive tension for that individual. In fact, they will be more
themselves, whom they really are.

It may seem as though the individual had awakened from a very real-seeming
dream, and things will make sense in a different way. A perceptual filter
will have been removed, a filter through which values had been determined,
and without that filter, truer values will become evident. The "new" Being
may even have different tastes in food and/or clothing, and different
personal habits. It will be a welcome transformation.

Approaches to healing which consider the aspect of personality change,
transformation, are keyed to the idea of an inner cause to any outer
symptom. Without the inner changes, the symptoms may be relieved in the
physical reality, but not yet the causes in the inner world, and the
symptoms may get re-created again. The Being then considers that part of
their energy system an inherent weakness, to be continually dealt with,
until they can bring about the inner changes, after which the symptoms no
longer manifest. After all, the symptoms were only necessary to give a
message to the "old" Being. The "new" one, not having the built-in weakness,
has no need of the symptom. As a matter of fact, the formerly weak part may
even become the "new" Being's strongest part. Stories of formerly paralyzed
or injured patients who became Olympic stars are evidence of this.

When transformation is focused on in addition to other parts of the healing
process, another dimension is added, to accelerate the healing.

THE HUMAN ENERGY SYSTEM

In the energy system that we each are, the energy is in a constant state of
flow. This flow of energy is regulated by seven energy "pumps," called
chakras. Each chakra represents specific emotions and levels of perception,
elements of the Being's consciousness, and is also associated with specific
parts of the body, specific functions within the body, specific endocrine
glands, and specific nerve groups. Responses to a Being's perceived universe
are reflected in the chakras as well.

The chakras have an optimal state of balance and flow. A healing of the
individual balances the chakras. When this happens, in addition to restoring
inner balance and a different state of consciousness, as well as physical
balance, the rebalancing will also define different responses to the Being's
perceived universe.

In other words, with a given state of balance of the chakras, a certain type
of experience will be attracted to the individual, and certain types of
people will be attracted, as well. When the energy changes in the chakras,
as in a healing, the magnetic effect drawing a particular kind of person or
experience is then released, along with the old way of responding.

For example, one Being, having different interactions with his/her mother
may respond by blocking the chakra associated with security or trust. The
effect would be insecurity as a perceptual filter. The individual would then
attract precarious situations to justify the insecurity, as well as females
who would remind that Being of his/her mother. When the chakra is cleared,
the type of female formerly attracted would be attracted instead to other
Beings with the same kind of blocked chakra as that formerly experienced by
the Being who was healed, leaving room for interactions for that Being with
females of a different energy. In addition, interactions with the
mother-archetype will have a different resolution, more satisfying.
Situations presented to the Being will also have more of a sense of
solidity, or the Being will have a new perspective of confidence with which
to resolve the situation..

We can see, then, that not only do the chakras reflect the outer
environment, but in a way they also create it.

With minor adjustments in a Being's energy system, only slight shifts in
consciousness would be apparent. In the case of catastrophic illnesses,
however, the Being was in desperate need of a major adjustment in
consciousness, and then the aspects of transformation would be more
profound.

REBIRTH

While instantaneous change is always possible and available, most people do
not seem to be prepared for so abrupt a shift in their way of Being. Gradual
change seems generally more comfortable for the Being involved, as well as
for others in the Being's environment.

With instantaneous change, there is the experience of sudden clarification
of what had been obscure, and a sense something like what might be
experienced by a Being suddenly finding itself in a body, and watching a
movie unfolding around itself, a movie that had just begun. The Being would
find itself as one of the characters, with a sense of seeming to be
different than what the others seemed to see the Being as, and in fact,
would be very different. Others would be holding the perception of the Being
who no longer exists.

It would then be important for the Being to maintain his/her new way of
Being, the new sense of clarity or enlightenment (yet possibly combined with
the confusing sense of sudden newness), and establish quickly the way in
which things make sense in the new reality, the new paradigm, with new
perceptions. The new Being would have to see its relationship to the old
Being's job, surroundings, home, partner, etc., and evaluate which aspects
worked harmoniously, and which parts would have to change in some way.

In the case of a Being who had had a serious illness, and who recognized the
relationship between lifestyle and the physical symptoms, there would have
to be a willingness to change all aspects of the lifestyle that did not
result in happiness, because it would be clear that it was those aspects
which were directly related to the illness It would be clear as well that to
not bring about the necessary changes would be to recreate the symptoms of
the illness.

When it becomes a matter of life and death, the choice becomes a clear one,
and simple, although not always easy.

INTERACTIONS

To those people close to the Being, it could be a very confusing time, as
well. It could seem as though the person they had known the Being to be, had
suddenly changed in a way, gone crazy. Habitual patterns of behavior and
responding would suddenly no longer be there, and it could be very
confusing. For the Being's health and well-being, however, they would have
to be totally supportive of the new Being, since attempts to re-create the
old Being would be perceived by the Being involved (correctly) as a threat
to its health, and perhaps even to its life.

There must be a willingness to adapt to the Being's new way of Being.

Gradual change is easier for most people, but it must be emphasized that the
magnitude of the gradual change is no less than that of immediate change. It
is just spread out over a longer period of time. The same issues must be
examined. The same changes must be made. In addition, the Being must
maintain a single-mindedness of purpose, and stay on purpose, with a total
willingness to release all aspects of their life which are stress-related,
and all patterns of interacting which are not success-oriented, until life
is again harmonious, and the body's state of health and well-being indicate
that the Being has returned to balance, and may now identify with the way
they are. The transformation and healing will then be complete.

ANYTHING CAN BE HEALED !!!

When an individual who has been out of balance has made the decision to
return to balance, they must make it a high priority project. Nothing else
must be more important. Particularly in the case of a catastrophic illness,
the return to health necessarily becomes more important than family,
friends, or job. When there has been the recognition of a path to health,
nothing must interfere with that path. The development and maintenance of a
positive mental attitude is imperative.

Each of us is a self-organizing autonomous system of consciousness. Each of
us is an energy system. Energy flows through our Being, and is directed by
our consciousness. This energy is in a state of movement, flow, and in a
healthy organism the energy is harmonious, and flows smoothly. When the flow
of this energy is blocked or interrupted, it is experienced by the organism
as an imbalance, and the organism's tendency is to return to balance and
harmony, to return to health. This tendency toward harmony is an aspect of
love.

All illness, all injury, is energy blocked or interrupted, or a call for
love. Each of us, including you, the reader, has the ability to sense
energy, detect it, and direct it.

Ultimately, any energy block can be released by your consciousness. It is
not a question of whether it can be done, but rather how it can be done.

Within your Being, within your consciousness, is the ability to love, to
perceive without judgment or expectation, to care. You have a potential for
infinite love, whether or not you choose to recognize it, and whether or not
you choose to manifest it. In fact, this love is the very nature of your
Being.

You have the ability to love wherever there was a perception of a lack of
love, or a call for love. Love heals.

You have in your consciousness the potential and ability to heal anything,
on any level, in yourself as well as in any other Being, since it's all just
love and energy. What remains is for you to realize this fully and actualize
that potential.

Anything can be healed.

You can heal anything.

Parallel Assimilation - Identified as schizophrenic Symptoms.
(c) Copyright 2004, Dr. Barbara Young

During advanced stages of evolution two spiritual psycho-natures, one
in a parallel dimension to the other, are drawn upward and out of their
physical bodies during sleep by their Higher Self. Both spirits are fused
into each other that transfers their perspective psycho-natures into each
other and then placed back into their perspective dimensions.
But, here lies the problem.

The host Heart Chakra Center or what I call the Spirit’s Central
Processing Unit must integrate the new thought forms and memory into it's
psycho-nature in order to act as one for the self-expressing soul-mind. The
new body of memory contains powerful emotions, traits, and aspects derived
from the parallel life. And, until the host spirit can develop "willed"
attributes to control these new and powerful thought forms, they can, per
say, "act out".

If the new body of memory contains traumatic and fear based memories,
the resultant unbridled emotions can override the host spirit’s control over
the optic nerve area of the brain, thus causing optical illusions
accompanied by telepathic interactive apparitions. Although, the current
psychiatric field believes the externalised visions are unreal, they are in
a sense real. If one astral projects out of the body, one will "see", as it
were, liken a bubble scenario with persons and telepathy occurring within
it. The astral projectionist, as an objective party, can walk into this
scenario and find that it is indeed an alternate reality created by the
Spirit - and, in a sense, real and interactive. See studies done by
Castanada, University of California Los Angeles or his series of books
called Don Juan and Castanada.

This same phenomenon is described by veterans (who have extreme Post
Traumatic Stress) as flash backs. I use the same modality below for all
veterans with PTS.

One begins with a visual state of consciousness where you guide your
patient into their Garden of the Soul. The design of the Garden, created by
the patient’s Spirit, will, in the Language of the Gods, inform you of the
current Soul-Mind psycho-profile, which informs you of the direction for
your modality. A typical design for the above (PTS) case would be a twisted
mass of dark grey green jungle. With this type of configuration, your best
choice will be to ascend into the DivineRealm, bath in the DivineRiver of
Life, begin Access Imagery at the River, visit the Holy Spirit/Daughter,
Temple of Harmonics, and the Christ/Son. The modality is done over a period
of months until all unnecessary memory is removed and the Nature of God
replacing it, as well as willed attributes strengthened during the
integrating process, negative thought forms are being removed, and karmic
liabilities negated from the Book of Life.

I designed a modality with the help of DivineRealm Teachers
in Temples. Although the modality is described in outline form, if anyone is
interested in the dialogue email me. be.light@...

Dear Healers,

I am happy to bring another article authored by Dr. Barbara Young. She has
researched black entity intrusions and their impact on the brain and
neuronal system for over 30 years and found that it is the basis or cause of
some physical and mental illness. You can reach Dr. Young at her email
address be.light@... .

I do a lot of negative energy, elemental and entity removal work on my
clients myself and saw the same, as well as voluntary and involuntary mind
control implants on some clients. It is a very interesting area of research
with a lot of potential for open-minded and experienced energy workers.

With warm regards and best wishes,
Elisabeth

Negative Entity Interference

Since the beginning of written history, the belief in negative
entity intrusion can be found in religious writings the world over, yet it
is not acknowledged in the fields of medicine. But, in my own research, I
found that foreign entity intrusion produced an interactive and symptomatic
reaction that alters behaviour, neuronal responses, and the functions of the
physical body. For instance, uncontrollable rage, suicide, self-hate, types
of schizophrenia, depression, Lou Gerig’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome, and
Parkinson’s disease, to name a few.
Reacting to the above data, I studied both mystical data and
scientific data relating to energy fields. From these studies, I formulated
a modality based on visual states of awareness and the Nature of God’s
influence in the form of a Brilliant Light. Placing the inner Light
awareness into laboratory investigation, it was found that the Light of God
demonstrated a heightened energy field and unique EEG readings. As I
counseled patients using an ever unfolding wonder of the various Signature
Patterns of God, I noticed various sizes of one to three black balls of
energy leave the mouth or genital area of my clients. Also, upon their
expulsion, clients reported an immediate sense of relief and peace not
experienced for years.
Clients have even reported they caught a glimpse of the entity
that flew, as it were, into their mouth as well as an immediate feeling of a
swelling sensation in the neck area. Under laboratory conditions, the black
entities that enter the mouth anchored themselves over, if not into, or
below the cerebellum or at the base of the brain. In about two weeks each
shared various types of altered emotions. Some noticed a sharp escalation in
anger, an increase of negative thoughts accompanied by emotions that
promoted actions of self-abuse, or emotions of sever depression accompanied
by thoughts of self hate, and suicide.
I researched all world data on possession and like phenomenon I
could find, which led me to investigate, and associate a client’s past and
current life with negative intrusion. In all cases, one of the following
prevailed - extended fear, trauma, combat, prison life, abusive use of drugs
or alcohol, prisoners of war accompanied by torture, child abuse, and
spousal abuse. Their commonality led me to surmise that lowered spiritual
frequencies created by trauma, pain, and fear created a sociable habitat to
attract black entities hovering in the general area.

             Entity Expulsion

Current scientific instruments can identify and track the spread
of the entity’s intrusion in the brain and neuronal system. But, most
interesting, I found that the mechanism to repel negative entities is a
matter of physics - the repulsion properties of opposite polarity fields of
energy. For instance, a natural source of high frequency energy is found in
the Light Energy of God as it is witnessed during a meditative state. One
needs only to achieve an inner visual awareness of a country, beach, or
mountain scene. Once attained, pretend to look up at the inner ‘Sun’, which,
historically is a symbol for God’s Light - the same religious act of the
"Sun" worshipers. The Light Energy is then drawn down into and throughout
the physical body. In a simple experiment, the Light Energy phenomenon can
be measured for its high intensity by using a simple Galvanic Skin Response
Test. It was found that the Light Energy increased the physical body’s
electro-field by 8 points compared to normal 2 points. Also, current
scientific instruments can identify and track the spread of the black entity
’s intrusion in the brain and neuronal system.
The polarity of Light Energy demonstrated a high and controlled
frequency by its user, in comparison to the black energy of an entity that
registrars in the negative range demonstrating an opposite polarity. At the
time a person attracts the High Light Frequency into its own brain and
neuronal system, the black entity’s body would feel an immediate opposite
polarity agitation, or in a sense, feel pain. The entities only recourse
would be to try and stop the person from entering the Light through some
agitation of the surrounding nerves to produce a stinging and burning
sensation in the throat. But, if the host can "will" its self to override
all irritating sensations and sustain the Light Frequency, the black
entities only recourse would be to dislodge its self and flee from the
agitation.

             Case Example

After the Vietnam War, I scheduled a lecture at Edwards Air
Force Base in Lancaster, California. In my lecture I briefly spoke of entity
intrusion, which prompted five service men from the same unit to approach me
after the lecture. One of the men stated that he experienced a dream that I
would be lecturing on the base and that I would be able to help him, which
prompted him and four other men to approach me after the lecture. I asked
each of them to briefly relate their experience and the circumstances prior
to and at the moment they felt the entity enter their body.
Each of the men was aware the moment the black entity entered
them and the swelling sensation. And, every one of them stated they
experienced emotions of disgust combined with fear. A few days later, they
were aware of exploding inner emotions of intense anger. And, as the weeks
and months passed, the men became aware of uncontrolled rages, abusive
actions, speech, and an increased need to drink as well as over willing
emotions to kill. And, every one of them was in constant trouble with the
MPs. No matter how hard they tried to "will" themselves to be good, it
seemed like an overwhelming impossible and fatiguing effort. Although they
tried to find reference to what had happened to them and how to get rid of,
"what ever it was," no data was available.
I stated I knew how to help them and I knew what to do. I
stated, I wanted all of them to come to my hotel room accompanied with their
wives. When all arrived the next night, I explained the guided meditation
and scenario and this was a fight for their life. I then suggested they lay
on the floor about two feet from each other and face up. And, I seated their
wives in chairs around the room. I then guided the men into a state of inner
visual meditation followed by verbal guidance into a country scenario. Each
of them settled into the scenario and verbally reported the design of their
country scene. I then suggested to them to pretend to "look up at the Sun or
God’s Light". And, as soon as they began to witness the Light, the men
complained that their throats began to sting and burn. The entities were
scared. I verbally supported them by stating to hold onto the Light as their
eyes began to tear, while fighting the need to cough. I continued to state,
"hold on to the Light and do not give into the sensations. You have to fight
to keep the Light and bring it down into your body".
As the Energy continued its agitation, the men began to
experience neuronal spasms and an increased intensity of the stinging in
their throats. After about 2 minutes, their wives and I witnessed black
entities, about the size of golf balls, leave their mouths and genital
areas. Their wives pointed and watched them fly up and out through the
ceiling. As the men felt them leave, the stinging in their throats
immediately stopped, followed by a quiet peace within their minds for the
first time in years. I suggested they remain in the Light for a minute or
two more and just settle into its Warmth, Peace, and Contentment. I then
suggested to God to change the Energy to a White Sparkling Energy. I
suggested they allow the Energy to ‘wash’ memories of anger, hate, fear,
maiming, and killing down through their bodies and out of both feet like
soot. I asked them to continue until no more soot and the Energy ceased.
Upon ending the session, each stated they felt a remarkable difference and
felt much lighter. I suggested that each continue to bask in God's Light at
least once per day for a week, and then as often as they felt comfortable
doing so.

             Iraqi War Vets

The current Iraqi war veterans will have the same problem with
black entities as did the Vietnam Veterans, or anyone, for that matter, who
is under extreme fear, stress, and trauma for long periods of time. The
entities found in Iraq will be programmed to hate, demean, project anger, to
hate women, and children. I suggest strongly that anyone who has a loved one
fighting in the Middle East, to pass on the simple visual meditation
exercise I have placed at the end of this text.
Negative entity phenomenon is real and needs to be made part of
the education and responsibility of current psychologist, Ministers,
Priests, and the general public.
Mediation into the Light of God

Lie down, sit or use a lazy boy chair that allows a comfortable position for
your body. Close your eyes and pretend you are on a long gentle slide
downward. The sensation will assist your brain wave patterns to slow down so
that you can inwardly visualise.

Once you are in this twilight zone just before sleep sensation, open your
visualisation by pretending to stand on a beautiful hill over looking a
Country scene . . .

Walk down the hill and into the Country Scene . . .

Walk further into your scenario and notice its feeling of peace . . .

Next, pretend to look up at the Sun, the symbol for God's Light . . .

Let go and attract the Light into your mind and body . . .

(If you have any feeling of agitation or stinging in the throat, continue to
fight for the Light until the agitation is gone.)

You will feel the warmth and peace . . .

When done, return your awareness to the Country Scene, turn, and walk back
up the hill . . . When you reach the top of the Hill take a deep breath and
open your eyes . . .

CHAKRA SPIN, SCAN, AND WORK ON THEM. Some own observations and experiences.
================
I scan the chakras with the help of the pendulum. Chakras are the portals and valves of the energy system at aura and ethereal layer levels.
================
NORMAL, head and trunk:

At the front of the body, all the seven main chakras on the head and trunk spin in clockwise direction if they are healthy, and the more open they are the faster the pendulum starts to spin, and the wider the circles become.
At the back of the body, the second through the sixth chakra spin anti-clockwise.
--------------
ABNORMAL, head and trunk:

Slow or absent spin means plugged up or closed chakras, resulting in energy depletion or energy overcharge in the corresponding meridians and organs, and leading further down the road to pathological symptoms. This chakras need to be opened and cleaned from stagnant energy debris by the healer.
Reverse spin is a compensation mechanism, energy is sucked from the environment and from other people for pure survival. This is a more serious condition than the above and leads to what is commonly called "energy vampirism".
================
NORMAL, hand palms and foot soles:

The normal spin direction of the feet and hand chakras depend on what is naturally your dominant hand.

If you are born with a RIGHT hand dominance, then the natural spin direction of your right palm and right sole chakras will be clockwise, the natural spin direction of your left palm and left sole chakras will be ANTI-clockwise. This is in accordance with the natural function of your palm and foot chakras. The dominant right hand is more used for GIVING/sending energy, and is called the "electric" hand, while to more passive left hand is the ACCEPTING hand, more used for drawing energy out of a structure. The left hand is called the "magnetic" hand.

If you are born with a LEFT hand dominance, all of that will be reversed.
---------
ABNORMAL, hand palms and foot soles:

In people who were injured/operated on, amputated or through education forced to use their naturally passive right hand as dominant hand, I have observed specific aberrations in the chakra spin and direction.

For example, if a foot was injured and operated on, the chakra is often damaged, or the energies go right through. The latter case is shown by a vertical swing direction of the pendulum.

Blocked feet chakras are indicated by slow spin or undeterminded spin (spin direction changing a few times, sometimes even with vertical or horizontal swing intermissions).

Unblocking the foot chakras, grounding of the person and initial turning of the chakra with the apropriate movement of the palm corrects the spin direction and speed.

If a naturally left-handed person is forced (in childhood) to use her/his right hand as dominant hand, we see that the spin direction of the right palm chakra is opposite to the spin direction of the right foot chakra. This can range from total reversal of the natural spin direction to indetermined spin direction in the palm chakra, depending on the degree of re-programming.

Dear Subscribers,

due to it's topic, this is a very controversial article by Dr. Barbara Young and I was a bit hesistant to approve it for publishing in it's current wording and content, and our Institute members felt the same. On the other hand, she has some valid points, seen from the overall carmic picture. Comments to this article should be directed to the author Dr. Young at be.light@... .

With warm regards,

Elisabeth

Echoes of Vengeance

The misogynist personality's psycho-profile innately hates another of the same sex, the opposite sex, or homosexual partner. The spiritual-soul’s astral body and the Core-self contains within an adverse program that acts against the creative program for evolution of love and union with the Lower Aspects of God, the Christ/Son and Holy Spirit/Daughter.

Over the centuries, the misogynist’s major traits is that of a deceiver who laughs at and destroys the source of Truth, love, trust and self esteem in its victims.

Through a combination of hate and vengeance destined karmic encounters between the perpetrator and victim have occurred over hundreds, thousands and sometimes literally millions of lives. The first emotional hate and vengeance encounter between one another, sealed the two souls together in karmic encounters. The encounters continue until all is resolved or through the Divination Program’s Salvation Procedures, where the victim or in rare cases, the perpetrator can remove all negative memories, which are in the form of a Thought Form from a long and arduous karmic activity.

Registered in their respective Book's of Life their destinies are worked out into some kind of interrelationship according to that century's social psycho design. As soon as the two meet, there past life emotional anxiety grows stronger and stronger as the encounter continues to surface past emotional feelings. How these emotions are played out depends on the both their wills, surrounding social restrictions, conscience and use of undaunted power. The average time between protagonist encounters is approximately 200 to 300 years. There are various designs for the encounter. The soul can experience destiny as being the victim's mother, father, family member or sibling, wife or husband, teacher, an office manager, co-worker, police-person, jailer, robber, rapist and murderer.

A maturing protagonist is always without Divine Reality memories, religious faith (therefore lacks a conscience), eulogises dogmatic philosophies in order to support its "against evolution character." Most have not transferred their allegiance to become a son or daughter of darkness, although they are close in evolution to do so. In each life, most protagonist souls enhance, improve, and mature their activities in order to self-express themselves for the greatest harm to those around them. Also, it will improve its negative personality by being the offspring of a son or daughter of darkness or a misonist. The dark mother or father will continue to destroy any positive attributes or conscience within the child. For the male misogynist (hater of women), he will strengthen his destiny in order to enhance his abuse of women by being abused by his mother. While a female misonist who hates men, and abuses them, its anger is strengthened by her hate by being abused by her father.

For millions of years the protagonist has up-built its negative expression of being a lover-of-self, who lies and cheats and withholds data in order to "catch" its victim off balance. It will manipulate encounters to demean and make its victim feel worthless, diminish its victim's life style, and attempt to break the victim’s will. The victims counter actions to the negative infringements to their soul depends on the soul’s inner strength to counter its fears, acquire social assistance and stop or remove itself from the protagonist presence.

Through the use of the Modality Access Imagery, the negative thought forms can be negated and healed, which releases the personality for greater self-expression of positive ideals as well as heal physical psychosomatic symptoms.

Vision as a Metaphor

by Martin Brofman, Ph.D.

(The relationship between eyesight and consciousness)

Vision As A Metaphor

Why are our eyes called the windows to our souls? Why do we speak of the way that we "see" the world? Why do we say, "I see", in order to communicate that we understand? What is the understanding? What is the relationship between our vision, our eyesight, and our way of Being?

Eyesight is not just a physical process involving acuity. It is a multi-dimensional function affecting and affected by our emotional and mental state of Being, and linked to our personalities. That is, each type of vision impairment correlates with specific personality types.

All nearsighted people have something in common in their personalities, and all farsighted people share a particular character trait, and all those with astigmatism are working with a similar issue in their lives.

All kinds of impaired vision represent stressed ways that a person interacts with their environment.

Some say that stress is responsible for all emotional and physical imbalances, and stress reflects how an individual interacts with his or her environment in a way which is not "at ease". Stress is stored in the physical body in a number of ways, including stress or tension in particular muscles.

We can say, then, that physical tension is emotional or mental tension stored in the physical body, in the muscles. Tension in particular muscles is related to particular emotions and mental states. In other words, where you feel the tension is related to why you feel the tension.

In the case of vision, different visual disorders have been identified with excessive tension in particular extra-ocular muscles (the muscles surrounding the eyeballs), and with particular emotional patterns. To understand this process, let's look at how it works.

Surrounding each eyeball are six eye muscles (see illustration). We use these muscles to move our eyeballs in different directions, and for a while it was thought that this was their only function. Then, it was discovered that these muscles are about one hundred times more powerful than they need to be to accomplish this, and since structure and function are related in the human body, it seemed evident that these muscles must have another function. They do.

The extra-ocular muscles also serve as part of the focusing mechanism for our eyesight, along with the lens. They cause the eyeballs to elongate or shorten, depending on what we are looking at, and what we are thinking or feeling. In this way, the eye operates more like a bellows camera, with variable focus, than a box camera with a fixed focal length.

Four muscles pull each eyeball straight back into the eye socket, shortening the eyeball. Excessive tension on these muscles, called the Rectus muscles, creates a condition of farsightedness, and is experienced emotionally as tension in the consciousness, as coming out of one's Self, focusing on Image. It may be experienced as suppressed anger, or anger at one's self (guilt), or a feeling that in some way, the individual is not as important as other Beings.

Two muscles around each eyeball, the Oblique muscles, circle it like a belt, and when these muscles are tightened, they squeeze the eyeball, and it elongates. Excessive tension on these muscles is related to nearsightedness and this tension is experienced in consciousness as hiding within one's Self, retreating inward, as apprehension, fear, or non-trust as a perceptual filter, a sense of feeling threatened, not safe to be one's Self.

Uneven tensions on different muscles can create a condition of astigmatism, distortion of vision, by squeezing the eyeball unevenly in different directions, so that the eyeball is pulled out of roundness. This is experienced by the individual as a sense of being lost, as having uncertainty or confusion about their values, what they really want and/or what they really feel. Values from the "outside" have been included "inside", in a way which is not natural, organic, or real for that individual, and the stress of this situation is experienced in the person's consciousness as well as in the eye muscles.

Impaired vision comes about at a time in people's lives when they are experiencing stress in relation to their environment, and do not see clearly at that time, both literally and figuratively. When this goes on for an extended period of time or to an extreme of intensity, the eye muscles which hold these tensions may become temporarily "frozen", holding the eyeball in an out-of-focus condition. Since the tensions in these muscles correspond with tensions in the person's consciousness, this also holds the individual in a particular state of consciousness. These eye muscles can, however, be relaxed, and clear vision restored, using relaxation techniques and Hatha Yoga eye exercises (similar to what optometrists call "motility training.").

When the proper "tone" is restored to the eye muscles, the eyeballs are able to resume their natural shape, and clear vision can return. Tensions are released in the person's body and consciousness as well, and there is a return to an easier, clearer, more natural (for that person) way of Being.

The natural state of our vision is clear, and returning to clarity is related to returning to balance, and really being ourselves.

Since vision is a metaphor for the way we see the world, and related to personality, once the elements of a person's experience that relate to their impaired vision are identified, they can be released, and clear vision can be restored. Rather than being at the effect of perceptions we know to be distortions, we can decide to be at the cause, to consciously align with and choose those perceptions we know to be really true for us, and which will be more successful for us in our interactions, more in keeping with who we really are.

When we release the excessive tensions in our consciousness, the tensions are then released from the eye muscles from the inside, and the eyeball returns to its natural shape, and clear vision returns.

Naturally, since each type of vision impairment corresponds to a particular personality type, a change in personality may be expected to reflect the change in outer vision. The "new" Being will have the same Essence of Being, yet with a different way of interacting with the environment, a different "dance," without what had been excessive tension for that individual. It will seem as though the individual had awakened from a very real-seeming dream, and things will make sense in a different way. A perceptual filter will have been removed, a filter through which values had been determined, and without that filter, truer values will become evident. The "new" Being may even have different tastes in food and/or clothing, and different personal habits, yet will feel more themselves, being who they really are. It will be a welcome transformation.

Approaches to vision improvement which have not considered the aspect of personality change have had only limited success. In cases where vision has been restored, the person involved has been through a transformative process and has, in fact, dropped a role, and become another Being, with another personality, more real, and with another way of seeing the world. The degree of improvement and the rapidity of improvement has been connected with the willingness on the part of the individual to accept the changes, to accept the new personality, to become the new Being, or rather, to become and live who they really are.

If we imagine that each of us is surrounded by a bubble of energy, our individual perceptual filters, we can see some metaphors. People who are nearsighted see what is close to them easier that they see what is far away. They are more focused on what is in the bubble, and less on what is outside the bubble, preoccupied inside, not looking outside. Energy, the direction of attention, is moving inward, contracting, toward the inside, away from the outside. Things must be held close to be seen clearly and comfortably. What one wants or feels is experienced as more important than what others want or feel. One's orientation is toward Self, to an excess for that person. "I" is considered more important in some way than "YOU," and from the individual's point of view, "WE" does not seem to include "YOU" as an equal consideration. An exceptional need for privacy may be experienced, a withdrawal from the world around them, a sense of being intimidated by their environment, a hiding inside.

The focus of thinking is forward, with fear or uncertainty as the emotional experience of that view. It is a preoccupation, keeping the individual from being totally present, in the here and now. The degree to which this is experienced is a matter of individual balance, and related to the degree of nearsightedness. Naturally, there may also be different compensations such as aggression to minimize the intimidation, or a forced extraversion to disguise the hiding within, but we are talking about the basis behind these outer actions.

With farsightedness, what is further away is seen more clearly than what is close. Farsighted people are more focused on what is outside the bubble and less on what is inside. Energy is moving outward, expanding, away from what is inside, and holding away or moving against what is outside. Things must be held away to be seen clearly and comfortably. What others want or feel is experienced as more important than one's own wants or feeling. One's orientation is toward others, away from Self, to an excess for that person. "YOU" is considered more important than "I," and from the individual's point of view "WE" does not seem to include "I" as an equal consideration. While a nearsighted person retreats in readily and easily, a farsighted person has difficulty doing this, since their attention continues to be directed outward. The person experiences more interest in other people's lives, and an avoidance of looking at their own. One's image is emphasized, and identified with, and gains more importance to the individual than the essence, who the person really is. The sense of anger that the person experiences is suppressed, so as not to offend others. The focus of thinking is toward the past, with anger and self-justification, or a sense of not having done the right thing, and is a preoccupation keeping the individual from being totally present. Again, the degree to which this is true is a matter of individual balance, and the degree of farsightedness, and there may be outer compensatory behavior, such as exaggerated saintliness to hide the guilt, or extreme kindliness to cover the anger.

With astigmatism, the bubble is distorted, and uncertainty of wants or feelings is experienced, depending on whether the right eye, or the left eye, or both, is affected.

Metaphysically, the right eye (the Will Eye) represents seeing clearly what one wants, and the left eye (the Spirit Eye) represents seeing clearly what one feels. In left-handed people, the traits are reversed. In a given situation, a person with astigmatism wants or feels what is true for them, considers it inappropriate, and changes it, and then believes the pretended change, no longer seeing clearly what was really wanted or felt. The focus is more on what "should" be wanted or felt, rather than what is real for that person, and a sense of confusion about who they really are. Who would they be if they stopped pretending to be who they are not?

Combinations of visual disorders are related to combinations of the qualities that have been mentioned. Astigmatism may be experienced in combination with either nearsightedness or farsightedness. Naturally, these qualities may be experienced by others without the visual disorders, but for those individuals with impaired vision, these traits mentioned are particularly strong.

Nearsightedness means seeing more clearly what is close. Farsightedness means seeing more clearly what is far. While in some rare cases one eye may be nearsighted and the other farsighted, both conditions may not exist within the same eye. When a person sees neither near nor far, the condition is one of rigidity of the accommodation mechanism, reflecting rigidity of consciousness, and relaxation techniques and eye exercises can restore flexibility. As a result, the individual will also notice greater flexibility in their mental process.

We are Beings of energy, and energy is directed by our consciousness. Ultimately, we have the capability of choosing the direction of the flow of energy depending on the situation, choosing not to be directed by past patterns of actions or perceptions, but rather changing those perceptions which we know to be less than accurate or optimal, with a willingness to see things as they are, rather than through a distorting filter.

The flow of energy between the inside and the outside of the bubble can be changed, as can the nature of the bubble itself, which is in fact the perceptual "filter" through which we perceive our environment. A "stuck" filter predisposes us to particular patterns of interacting and perceiving. It's like a selective lens allowing through only those perceptions which agree with the basic beliefs we have chosen or accepted, and ignoring or discounting all others. Since we act on the basis of the information that gets through to us, we are then predisposed to responding to our environment in a fixed way. The selectivity of the lens is not the problem, though - the distorting quality of the emotional filter is what must be released.

When we are clear and centered, the bubble is clear, and so are our interactions. When we are in the middle of a strong emotion, we are not centered, and our perceptions change. Situations look different, and so we respond differently. The bubble is distorted with the emotional currents. When the strong emotions of anger, fear, confusion, etc., are suppressed, as is the case with those who have impaired vision, the bubble is also distorted, but the distortion is not recognized. The person has identified with the distorted view, and believes that it represents truth, and who they really are. In fact, it is not who they are, but just who they seem to be when functioning with the distortion. They can release the distorting aspect of the lens, and of their perceptions, and return to their true clear selves.

Nearsighted people can direct the energy outward by being more and more willing to be visible - to trust that that will be all right. In a given situation or interaction, they can see themselves as the others see them, in a sense to see themselves through the other person's eyes, so that they not only have the view from the inside looking out, but also from the outside looking in. This will give them the opportunity to step outside themselves, and see things from another point of view, and with the additional information thus gained, to use it to optimize their interactions.

It is also important to treat the other person as they themselves would like to be treated if they were in the other person's place. It isn't necessary to agree with the other person's perceptions of them, but just have the willingness to see that that's how they are being seen, and that the other person's perceptions are as important to the other person as their own are to them. In fact, the other person's perceptions might be very useful to know about.

The idea is to not feel threatened or intimidated by the environment in which the individual finds him/herself, but rather to focus more and more on letting themselves be themselves, and trusting that when they do what they really want to do, and let themselves be real, something wonderful always happens. And since that process is so important for themselves, to recognize that the same process is important for the people around them, also, that everyone is just getting better and better at being themselves.

From the nearsighted person's point of view, "WE" can really include "YOU" as equal to "I," and in fact, just another "I," just as important.

Farsighted people can direct the energy more inward by giving themselves the same consideration they give others. The idea is not to stop considering others, but also to consider themselves. There can be a conscious process of allowing themselves to receive without guilt - not to take, but to receive - and to express wants and feelings, and let themselves have. When receiving, there need not be the need to reciprocate, or to deny, but just to say, "Thank you," and accept unconditionally. Focus on accepting not only things, but also ideas. Notice any of the ways you have been holding things, ideas, or people away, and allow them to come closer. There can be more a focus on who they really are, in addition to their image. Image is important, but Essence must not be overlooked. Outer appearance is not more important than true sentiment, and people do appreciate honesty in feelings.

Consideration must also extend to yourself. Expressing love need not involve sacrifice. It's not necessary to come out of your space to be loved and respected. The role can be fun, but also remember the Being who is playing it, the person inside. From the farsighted person's point of view, "WE" can include "I" as equal to "YOU," and "I" can be seen as another "YOU," as well as separate and important in its own right.

Astigmatics can ask themselves from time to time, during their day, "What do I really want now? What do I really feel now? What's true for me? What's real for me? If I stop wanting to be what I'm not, who would I be? If I stop living up to other people's standards, who would I be?" If I stop pretending to be the person I've been playing, what would I be doing differently? The feeling may have been that the real person would not be accepted in the environment, by the environment in which the person finds himself or herself. Then, find out whether the feeling is real, by discontinuing the role, and being you. Either you will discover that the feeling was a misperception, and the role was unnecessary, or that the feeling was real, in which case you would then be able to migrate to an environment in which you can be yourself, and be accepted. Either way, the effect would be a greater sense of ease in being you.

There's a place in society for all of us, and if we let ourselves be real, there's a place we really fit in, where we are not only accepted, but also appreciated for who we are. We do not have to pretend to not see what's real for us. We can all allow ourselves to be more and more who we really are, to be more and more real.

With determination, and a willingness to change perceptions and their accompanying realities, any Being can transform his or her view of the world, both literally and figuratively, and return to a natural state of clarity of vision.

Dear Friends,

this is issue 3 of our new Newsletter and I would like to introduce my theory
about cause, development and possible reversal of cancer and other chronic or
systemic diseases. I wrote this article some years ago before I knew about Reiki
and related energy healing methods. The principles are still the same -
balancing of the body's energies so that the body regains the ability to
regulate it's biochemical functions and heal itself. In Reiki, Pranic Healing
and related methods you also add energies from outside in addition to the
balancing effect of the various regulation methods (homeopathy, herbs,
acupuncture, etc).
I am giving an excerpt of the article in this newsletter, the full text can be
read at
http://www.magnussa.com/cancer.html .

If you would like to comment on this article, please reply to the message (it
will go to the moderators of the newsletter group) or to my directly at
magnussa@....

If you wrote an article that you feel would be interesting to our readers, we
will be happy to review it and possibly publish it here.

With warm regards,
Elisabeth Frauendofer

Theory about cause, development and cure of cancer and other systemic and
metabolic diseases.

Theory about the cause and development of diseases, aging and eventual death.
I believe, the basic cause is an energy-imbalance in the body that weakens all
the body-functions and eventually disturbs the biochemical equilibrium. A
circulus vitiosus develops which at first weakens all the interdependent
regulatory systems of the body which eventually get out of control.

This energy-imbalance and energy-weakness influences at the molecular level and
in further consequence at the cellular level the function of the genes which
lose their control-function in the organism. “Weak points” exist in the organism
wherever there are genetically “preprogrammed” flaws that are dispositions to
diseases. These weak points are the loci where a primary loss of control happens
first.

This basic life energy has two functional expressions which influence and
controls the physical matter. These two subenergies control among others the
body functions and have to be kept in balance for optimal functioning of the
biological systems. If one of these subenergies is in surplus it causes
imbalance and therefore promotes the development of diseases. Diseases are being
caused by an imbalance of body functions. Infections are being promoted by a
functional weakness of the body’s immune system.

If it is not possible to put these two subenergies again into their correct
proportionate balance within the body-systems, the body starts to decay and age
till it eventually dies because it is no more able to function sufficiently to
keep it alive and functioning.

If someone is able to keep the energy balance in optimal equilibrium, it should
be possible to maintain the body in perfect health and to avoid the aging
process. The endocrine glands whose hormones control every body function, would
be in top-condition without degenerating over time. Their proper functioning
would keep the body young. And would balance assimilation and excretion,
therefore avoiding accumulation of waste-products and toxins in the body.

These two subenergies are being called “Yin and Yang” in the Chinese medicine,
the life-energy “Chi”. They tried to manipulate them with the help of
acupuncture, yoga and with balanced diet, but were not really successful.

Modern science has no really suitable names for these two subenergies. They call
their effects entropy and ectropy. With some caution I would also mention
expressions like electron and positron, matter and antimatter, and as functions
also bases and acids in regard to their principal impact on the body and in
their antagonism.

The cause of radioactivity:
Radioactivity is -- same as diseases in biological systems -- also an expression
of energy-imbalance and loss of control.

Ectropic energy enters an atom and causes an energetic imbalance. This ectropic
energy either enters as rays by itself, for example as gamma-rays, or it is
being carried by corpuscular matter like protons, electrons, etc.

Certain atoms which are already unstable because of their size (atomic weight)
and/or a previously existing energy-imbalance, cannot assimilate and accommodate
the additional ectropic energy imposed on them from outside, and fall apart into
two or more smaller atoms which are in most cases in better energetic balance
and therefore more stabile. While falling apart, the mother-atom releases its
superfluent ectropic energy that is being transmitted directly as rays or
indirectly via corpuscles to other instable atoms. This initiates a
chain-reaction, which, under certain conditions like exceeding the “critical
mass”, causes an uncontrolled nuclear explosion or detonation.

Development of the symptoms of the acute and chronic radiation syndrome, and
explanation for the development of benign and malignant tumors.
In the case of radiological contamination of a biological system like for
example an human body, the additional ectropic energy (radiation) adds to the
probably already existing imbalance of the system and, depending on variables
like dosage and duration of impact, promotes the loss of control more or less in
matters of speed and intensity. In radiotherapy the excessive ectropic energy
causes the destruction of the targeted cells.

In the case of the Acute Radiation Disease, a one-time impact of a higher dosage
of ionizing radiation like for example during the detonation of an atomic bomb
or of a nuclear accident in a reactor, the biological system “human body” gets a
radiation shock and develops the symptoms of the “Primary Period”. By the end of
this primary period of the acute radiation disease the biological system
mobilizes its resources, tries to repair the damages and tries to put the
energies into balance again. The lower the one-time radiation dosage and the
healthier the body was prior to exposure, the more successful this regeneration
attempt will be and the longer the following "Intermission Period" will last. In
this second period, the patient will show little or no symptoms of radiation
sickness and it is the best time for medical and surgical treatment if
necessary. After a longer or shorter duration of time and a certain dosage that
represents an individual threshold-value, the body is no longer able to balance
and the ectropic energy gets the upper hand. This development is recognizable by
the gradual decline of the quantity and the quality of the blood corpuscles. The
overall health declines and leads to the “Peak Period” of the Acute Radiation
Syndrome. This is the most critical phase which can lead to complete loss of
control and to the death of the patient.
If the radiation dosage was relatively small and the medical measures have been
successful, the peak period leads to a “Convalescence Period” and eventually to
complete or incomplete recovery. In many cases and after years the body develops
as late sequelae persistent leucopenia and anemia.
Because of various factors which lie in the quality of environment and in the
individual constitution and the way of living, the body will be unable to
regenerate completely. In addition to that there are the influences of the
normal aging process. All of these together promote a possible eventual
development of tumors and cancer.

Development of tumors:
If you assume that there are certain areas in the body which are more
pre-conditioned than others by its ongoing energetic imbalance and the resulting
biochemical and genetical damage and impact, then you can figure out where you
can find the location of primary tumors and cancers.

The reproduction of cells is done by mitosis. After that, the normal healthy
cells grow and restructure themselves according to their predestined genetical
pattern.

For a cell to undergo the fission process and the subsequent growth, it needs
ectropic (= expansive) energy. The entropic (= contracting) energy inhibits and
limits the effect of the expansive energy according to the genetic pattern.

If the expansive energy is of too much surplus quantity, the contracting energy
loses control because it is relatively too weak to control the expansive energy
in the predestined genetic pattern, and an uncontrolled expansion (= growth)
occurs.

Especially the cells of the malignant tumors are undergoing multiple and very
frequent mitosis, they grow faster and become bigger than normal cells of the
same origin.

The principal proof for my theory is the shape of such a malignant cancerous
cell: It is shapeless, bulky, sometimes has multiple nuclei and it is expanding
wherever it finds space. And obviously it does not grow according to a
predestined scheme or order.

This is just the basic outline of my theory. A lot of biochemical and
physiological research will have to be done in the future to provide more
detailed answers to pending questions which arise when going deeper into the
functional processes. I would be happy to continue my research in this direction
if given the opportunity in the right environment. Thanks.

Dear Subscribers,

this is the second issue of the newsletter, and also the second article of
Dr. Martin Brofman (Email: healer@..., Website
http://www.healer.ch). This article was written and copyrighted in 1990,
but the content is nevertheless still not outdated. There are also other
interesting theories about AIDS and the reasons why it develops, and
theories about how to influence AIDS in alternative medicine. I will write
an own article about that and publish it in this newsletter soon.

A Healer's View of AIDS
by Martin Brofman, Ph.D.

We are each an energy system. Energy flows through our being, and is
directed by our consciousness. When we are healthy, or in balance, the
energy flows smoothly.
The flow of energy is regulated by seven energy centers, called chakras.
Any illness or disease can be described as an out-of-balance condition. AIDS
(or being HIV positive) is an out-of-balance condition affecting the immune
system. The immune system is governed or controlled by the thymus gland,
which in turn is regulated by the heart chakra. The heart chakra is that
part of our energy system affecting and affected by our perceptions of love.
AIDS, then, is an out-of-balance condition that is in some way related to
the individual's perceptions of love.
The disease began among those members of our society whose life-styles
created a sense of separation from those they love. Without the love they
needed, and seeing no way out of their dilemma, those people decided at some
point that they would rather die. The immune system then deteriorated so
that their wishes could be carried out.
Among the members of the homosexual community, the determination to assert
the freedom of sexual expression was accompanied by a need to hide this
sexual preference from parents, from business associates, and from members
of the heterosexual community in general, for fear of not being accepted,
not being loved.
With the generally puritanical attitudes of the heterosexual community, the
fears were often justified, but the situation also created in many members
of the gay community a non-acceptance of themselves, a judgmental way of
seeing themselves that stimulated even more of an assertive tone to the
exercising of their sexual preferences, with a louder demand for acceptance.
Without the individuals' acceptance of themselves, however, they would have
difficulty recognizing the acceptance of others. There would remain the
suspicion that others were judging them as they were judging themselves.
In the Haitian community, the harsh martial rule imposed by the Duvalier
dictators created an atmosphere of suspicion and fear, even between members
of the same family, overshadowing the love. Again, the lifestyle or the
people created a sense of separation from those they love. And so, AIDS was
born there, too.
Drug users, too, who were affected, were living life-styles separating them
from those they love, and so they closed their hearts. Children born to
them, not finding the love they needed, also began to die - again, from lack
of love. When these children went to public schools, they were separated,
ostracized, and again, not loved - because they were ill!
They were feared, and parents of healthy children demanded that the AIDS
children be removed from the schools. So, there was more non-acceptance.
Our perceptions create our reality. We can say that those who developed AIDS
had the perception that they were not loved. That perception was fed and
reinforced, and these people were able to affirm even more their basic
belief that they were not loved, and prove to themselves that it was true.
Then, they asked themselves, what was there to live for?
The response by many of not perceiving themselves to be loved, was to not
love, in return, and so the heart chakra shut down more and more, affecting
the thymus gland, and the immune system.
Our society created AIDS to show us that we need to love more. We have
entered the Age of Aquarius, the age of the heart chakra. We have, as a
planetary consciousness, entered an age in which it no longer makes sense to
think in separatist terms, or in terms of conflict. We are obliged now to
think in terms of cooperation, in terms of what we can do to help others, in
terms of love, in terms of service.
It is obvious, for example, that we could not tell Russia that Chernobyl was
their problem. We have seen that events in one country can have effects on
other countries, if not worldwide. We have become obliged to think in more
global terms, and in fact, we have begun to do so.
AIDS, like any other out-of-balance condition, can be healed. What it takes
is love.
One young man in San Francisco who had developed AIDS was given a radical
therapy, which reversed the effects of the disease and resulted in his
recovery. He had to walk through the streets carrying balloons, being
obviously different, and when passers-by would look at him, he had to give
them a card saying, "I love you."
At first, he felt very conspicuous. The second day, it was easier. By the
third day, he really did feel the love for these other Beings that were
seeing him as different - and he also felt loved, even with his differences.
He recovered.
Louise Hay, an extraordinary American healer, has had much success with
reversing AIDS by focusing on the aspects of forgiveness and
self-acceptance, and using therapies emphasizing these qualities. Her
successes show the effectiveness of this approach of the heart. She has had
more success with AIDS patients than any other individual I have heard of.
In the experience of this writer regarding the healings of AIDS patients,
the consistent factor was the imbalance of the heart chakra, and the poor
quality of the relationships in their lives. One young man who was able to
open to receive love during a healing was later told by his doctor that he
didn't have AIDS after all, but just a systemic fungus infection, Candida.
Another who recovered was told by his doctor that the original diagnosis
must have been a mistake.
People can recover from AIDS when they learn to recognize the love, and
trust it, and place themselves in relationships that are nurturing, rather
than punishing. That is, they learn to stop punishing themselves, and so
allow themselves to be nurtured. They learn to accept themselves, and even
to accept others who do not accept them.
With acceptance, with love, the heart chakra can again function normally,
restoring strength to the thymus gland, and therefore to the immune system.
The individual can then decide that there is something to live for, after
all, since love is again in their lives. The flow of energy is restored,
resulting in a return to the experience of wholeness that we know as health.
We are Beings of energy. When we block or interrupt the flow of this energy,
the result is illness or injury. Sometimes this happens as a call for love.
We each have the ability to restore the flow of energy, and provide an
abundance of love where there was a perception of lack. When we do this, a
healing happens.
It is imperative, now, that we keep our hearts open, and replace judgments
with acceptance. It is vital that we learn to love even more, and to allow
ourselves to be loved. We must relate in our relationships, and use
communication to clear misunderstandings and disagreements. When we can keep
ourselves in a loving space, we will have a positive effect on our
environment, a healing effect.
With our hearts open to the love all around us, and fully accepting
ourselves, we will not be creating the conditions in which AIDS develops.
The answer is acceptance. The answer is love.

Your Body Is A Mirror Of Your Life

Everything begins with your consciousness. Everything that happens in
your life, and everything that happens in your body, begins with
something happening in your consciousness.

Your consciousness is who you are, your experience of Being.

You decide what ideas to accept and which to reject. You decide what
to think, and you decide what to feel. When these decisions leave you
with residual stress, you experience the stress as if in your
physical body. We know that stress creates symptoms. The interesting
question is, "Which stress creates which symptoms?" When we are able
to quantify this process, we are then able to see the body as a map
of the person's consciousness, relating particular symptoms to
particular stresses and particular ways of being, in the same way
that Type "A" Behavior has been able to be associated with heart
disease.

Everything Starts In Your Consciousness

To understand this map, we must first orient ourselves to the idea
that the causes of symptoms are within. While it's true that germs
cause disease and accidents cause injuries, it is also true that this
happens in accord with what is happening in the consciousness of the
person involved.

Germs are everywhere. Why are some people affected and not others?
Something different is happening in their consciousness.

Why do some patients in hospitals respond better to treatment than
others? They have different attitudes. Something different is
happening in their consciousness When someone is injured in
an "accident," why is it that a very specific part of the body is
affected, and that it is the same part that has had habitual
problems? Is that an "accident," or is there a pattern and an order
to the way things happen in our bodies?

You Are A Being of Energy

Your consciousness, your experience of Being, who you really are, is
energy. We can call it "Life Energy" for now. This energy does not
just live in your brain; it fills your entire body. Your
consciousness is connected to every cell in your body. Through your
consciousness, you can communicate with every organ and every tissue,
and a number of therapies are based on this communication with the
organs which have been affected by some kind of symptom or disorder.

This energy which is your consciousness, and which reflects your
state of consciousness, can be measured through the process known as
Kirlian photography. When you take a Kirlian photograph of your hand,
it shows a certain pattern of energy. If you take a second photograph
while imagining that you are sending love and energy to someone you
know, there will be a different pattern of energy shown on the
Kirlian photograph. Thus, we can see that a change in your
consciousness creates a change in the energy field that is being
photographed, which we call the aura.

This energy field shown in the Kirlian photographs has been
quantified, so that when there are "holes" in particular parts of the
energy field, these are said to correspond to particular weaknesses
in specific parts of the physical body. The interesting thing about
this is that the weakness shows up in the energy field before there
is ever any evidence of it on the physical level.

Thus, we have an interesting direction of manifestation shown through
what we have described.

1. A change of consciousness creates a change in the energy field.

2. A change in the energy field happens before a change in the
physical body.

The direction of manifestation is from the consciousness, through the
energy field, to the physical body.

  Consciousness------1------►Energy Field------2------►Physical Body

When we look at things in this way, we see that it is not the
physical body creating the energy field, the aura, but rather the
aura or energy field that is creating the physical body. What we see
as the physical body is the end result of a process that begins with
the consciousness.

  We Each Create Our Reality

When someone makes a decision that leaves them with stress, creating
a blockage in the energy field with a sufficient degree of intensity,
this creates a symptom on the physical level. The symptom speaks a
certain language, which reflects the idea that we each create our own
reality. When the symptom is described from that point of view, the
metaphoric significance of the symptom becomes clear. Thus, instead
of saying, "I can't see," the person would have to say, "I have been
keeping myself from seeing something." If they cannot walk, they
would have to say, "I have been keeping myself from walking away from
something." And so on. We must understand that there are no
accidents and no coincidences. Things do happen according to a
pattern and order.

  The Human Directional System

We can say that we have an inner guidance system, a connection to our
Higher Self, or our Inner Being, or whatever name we choose to give
this Higher Intelligence. This inner guidance system functions
through what we call our intuition, or our instinct. It speaks a very
simple language. Either it feels good, or it doesn't. All the rest is
just politics.

We are told we should move with what feels good, and do not do what
doesn't feel good to us. We are told to trust this inner voice. When
we don't follow this inner voice we feel tension. We feel not-good.

Then, the voice must get louder. The next level of communication is
through the emotions. As we move more and more in the direction that
feels not-good, we experience more and more emotions that feel not-
good, and at some point we can say, "I should have listened to myself
when I thought to move in the other direction." That meant that we
heard the inner voice. Otherwise, we could not have said, "I should
have listened." If we make the decision we know is the right one for
us, and therefore change direction, there is a release of tension, we
feel better, and we know we are again on the right track.

If we continue to move in the direction that feels not-good, the
communication reaches the physical level. We create a symptom, and
the symptom speaks a language which reflects the idea that we each
create our own reality. When we describe the symptom from that point
of view, we can understand the message.

If we change our way of being, we have received the message, and the
symptom has no further reason for being. It is able to be released,
according to whatever we allow ourselves to believe is possible.

If we created the symptom with a decision, we are also able to
release it with a decision.

As an hypothesis, we can imagine that someone makes a decision that
it is not a good idea to express what they want. From that moment,
whenever there is something they want, they keep themselves from
expressing it, and therefore from having what they want. That feels
not-good. The tension grows. They feel more and more not-good as they
keep themselves from expressing what they want and not having it.

Eventually, something happens to create a symptom on the physical
level, and their right arm is affected. It could have happened
through falling from a ladder, or in an automobile accident, or by
pinching a nerve in the neck, or by "sleeping in a draft."

Something had to happen on the physical level to create the symptom,
in order to give the person the message on the physical level about
what they had been doing to themselves. We do to ourselves literally
what we have been doing to ourselves figuratively.

The effect is that the person cannot move their arm. They are keeping
themselves from reaching for something, and since it is the right
arm, on the "will" side of the body, they are keeping themselves from
reaching for or going for what they want. They have been giving
themselves reasons to not believe that they could have what they
want. When they begin to do something different in their
consciousness, they notice that something different begins to happen
with their arm, and the symptom is able to be released.

  Chakras And The Map

To understand the map of the consciousness that the body represents,
we can turn to some ancient Hindu traditions which have been studying
consciousness for thousands of years, and which use the language of
the chakras.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word, and it means "wheel," or "vortex," because
that's what it looks like when we look at it. Each chakra is like a
solid ball of energy interpenetrating the physical body, in the same
way that a magnetic field can interpenetrate the physical body.

The chakras are not physical. They are aspects of consciousness in
the same way that the auras are aspects of consciousness The chakras
are more dense than the auras, but not as dense as the physical body,
but they interact with the physical body through two major vehicles,
the endocrine system and the nervous system. Each of the seven
chakras is associated with one of the seven endocrine glands, and
also with a particular group of nerves called a plexus. Thus, each
chakra can be associated with particular parts of the body and
particular functions within the body controlled by that plexus or
that endocrine gland associated with that chakra.

Your consciousness, your experience of being, represents everything
it is possible for you to experience. All of your senses, all of your
perceptions, all of your possible states of awareness, can be divided
into seven categories, and each of these categories can be associated
with a particular chakra. Thus, the chakras represent not only
particular parts of your physical body, but also particular parts of
your consciousness. When you feel tension in your consciousness, you
feel it in the chakra associated with the part of your consciousness
experiencing the stress, and in the parts of the physical body
associated with that chakra. Where you feel the stress depends
therefore on why you feel the stress. When someone is hurt in a
relationship, they feel it in their heart. When someone is nervous,
their legs tremble and their bladder becomes weak.

When there is tension in a particular part of your consciousness, and
therefore in the chakra associated with that part of your
consciousness, the tension is detected by the nerves of the plexus
associated with that chakra, and communicated to the parts of the
body controlled by that plexus. When the tension continues over a
period of time, or reaches a particular degree of intensity, the
person creates a symptom on the physical level. Again, the symptom
served to communicate to the person through their body what they had
been doing to themselves in their consciousness. When the person
changes something about their way of being, they are able to release
the stress that had been creating the symptom, and they are then able
to return to their natural state of balance and health.

  Reading The Map

When we are reading the body as a map of the consciousness within, we
work with the idea that the tensions in the body represent tensions
in the person's consciousness concerning what was happening in the
person's life at the time that the symptom developed. The person was
feeling stress about something that was happening in their life at
that time.

We are going to examine the map of consciousness that the chakras
provide, in order to understand the language of the symptoms that are
associated with each chakra. In order to complete this map, however,
we also need to look at ourselves as each a polarity of yin and yang,
feminine and masculine characteristics.

For most people, their right side is their yang side, their will
side, their acting or active side, and the left side is their yin
side, their female side, their feeling or adaptive side. For people
who were born left-handed, this polarity is reversed. Thus, for a
right-handed person, their right leg can be described as their will
leg, or their male leg, or the foundation of their will, but for a
left-handed person, their left leg would be their male leg or will
leg, and so on. Thus, we can talk about the will arm, or the will
eye, or the will nostril, etc., and which side it is on will depend
upon whether the person is right-handed or left-handed at birth.

Each of the chakras is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, in a
logical and orderly sequence of seven vibrations. As we move up the
scale, the elements become more and more subtle, moving through the
five physical elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether, to the
spiritual elements of inner sound and inner light. The heaviest
element is on the bottom, the lightest on the top. It is a logical
and orderly sequence.

The colors of the spectrum also represent a series of seven
vibrations in a logical and orderly sequence, as do the notes of the
musical scale. Thus, we can put the heaviest vibrations or the
longest wavelength on the bottom and the lightest on the top, and a
particular color can be used to represent a chakra in its clear
state, as can a particular musical note. Music played in a certain
key vibrates a particular chakra, and we feel a particular way when
we hear that music. Our relationship with a certain color says
something about our relationship with the part of our consciousness
that the color represents.

The Root Chakra is associated with the parts of our consciousness
concerned with security, survival, or trust. For most people, this
concerns the parts of their consciousness concerned with money, home,
and job. When this chakra is in its clear state, the person is able
to feel secure, be present in the here and now, and be grounded. When
there is tension in this chakra, it is experienced as insecurity or
fear. When there is more tension, it is experienced as a threat to
survival.

Parts of the body controlled by the sacral plexus and this chakra
include the skeleton system, the legs, and the elimination system.
Symptoms in these parts of the body represent, therefore, tensions at
the level of the Root Chakra, and we therefore know that the person
is seeing the world through a perceptual filter of insecurity or
fear. The adrenal glands are also associated with this chakra.

If one leg is affected, we can see whether it is the male leg or the
female leg, and thus whether it has something to do with trust in a
male or trust in a female. We can also see it as having something to
do with trust in the will, or the aspects of trust in the foundations
the emotional being, related to what was happening in the person's
life at the time the symptom developed.

The physical sense of smell, and therefore the organ of the sense of
smell, the nose, is associated with the Root Chakra. Symptoms at the
level of the nose or affecting the sense of smell reflect tensions at
the level of the Root Chakra.

Each chakra is associated with an element. The Root Chakra is
associated with the element of earth, and reflects something about
the person's association with the earth, or how they feel about being
on the earth, which we call Mother Earth. This chakra is also
associated with our relationship with our mother. When someone
experiences a sense of separation from their mother, or not feeling
loved by their mother, they cut off their roots and experience
symptoms of tensions at the level of the Root Chakra until they can
again open to accept their mother's love.

When a child comes into the world in the traditional family
structure, the mother provides the nourishment and the father
provides the direction. Thus, in the child's relationship with its
mother, it makes certain decisions about the way things are. The
relationship with the mother thus becomes a model for the person's
relationship with everything that represents security - money, home,
and job.

The Root Chakra is associated with the color red.

The Abdominal Chakra is associated with the parts of our
consciousness concerned with food and sex - the communication from
the body to the person within it, about what the body wants or needs,
and what it finds pleasurable. It also is related to what is
happening in their consciousness about having children. When this
chakra is in its clear state, the person is in touch with this
communication, and listening to and responding appropriately to what
the body wants and needs.

Parts of the body controlled by the lumbar plexus include the
reproductive system and the abdomen, and the lumbar region of the
back.

The sense of taste is associated with this chakra, as is the element
of water. When someone does not have a clear relationship with water
(swimming, for example, or being on a boat), this reflects their
attitudes about the parts of their consciousness that this chakra
represents.

Tensions on the will side or the emotional side of this chakra
indicate tensions in the person's consciousness as conflicts between
either the will or the emotions with what the person's body is asking
for.

This chakra is associated with the sense of taste, and with appetite.
It is also involved with the person's willingness to feel their
emotions.

The second chakra is associated with the color orange.

The Solar Plexus Chakra is associated with the parts of our
consciousness having to do with perceptions of power, control, or
freedom. In its clear state, it represents ease of being, and comfort
with what is real for one's self - being comfortable with who you
are.

Parts of the body associated with this chakra include the organs
closest to the solar plexus - stomach, gall bladder, spleen, liver,
etc. - as well as the skin as a system, the muscular system as a
system, and the face in general.

The physical sense associated with this chakra is the sense of sight.
Anyone with impaired eyesight experiences tension at the level of
their solar plexus chakra about the issues of power, control, or
freedom. Nearsighted people also experience tensions at the level of
the Root Chakra, and experience the world through a perceptual filter
of fear or insecurity. Those who are farsighted experience tension
also at the level of the throat chakra, and see the world through a
perceptual filter of anger or guilt. Astigmatics see through the
emotional perceptual filter of confusion.

The endocrine gland associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra is the
pancreas. We can say that diabetics are keeping sweetness from
themselves. When someone gets too close with sweetness, they feel
threatened in their power to be who they are, and an emotion comes up
to create a safe distance again. The emotion is anger. Diabetes is
associated with suppressed anger.

The element associated with this chakra is fire, and the person's
relationship with the sun says something about their relationship
with the parts of their consciousness associated with the Solar
Plexus Chakra.

The color of the Solar Plexus Chakra is yellow.

The Heart Chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness
concerned with relationships and our perceptions of love. The
relationships we speak of here are with those people closest to our
heart - partners, parents, siblings, children.

The parts of the body associated with this chakra include the heart
and lungs, and the blood circulatory system as a system. This chakra
is also associated with the thymus gland, which controls the immune
system. When this is affected, as with AIDS, the person's lifestyle
separates them from someone they love.

The physical sense associated with this chakra is the sense of touch,
in its aspect of relating to the person inside the body. For example,
a massage given to someone with no sensitivity to what the person is
feeling inside would be an example of the sensation we associate with
the Abdominal Chakra, but when the masseur seems to have a sense of
what the person inside the body is experiencing, then it includes the
aspect of relating we associate with the Heart Chakra. When someone
experiences extreme sensitivity about being touched, we would ask
what was happening at the level of the Heart Chakra.

This chakra is associated with the element of air. When someone has
difficulty with air, with breathing (asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis,
etc.), we say that their relationship with air reflects their
relationship with love - difficulty letting it in, or letting it out,
for example

The color associated with the Heart Chakra is emerald green.

The Throat Chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness
concerned with expressing and receiving. Expressing can be in the
form of communicating what one wants and what one feels, or it can be
artistic expression, as an artist painting, a dancer dancing, a
musician playing music, using a form for expressing and bringing to
the outside what was within. Expression is related to receiving,
as, "Ask, and ye shall receive."

The throat chakra is associated with abundance, and with the state of
consciousness called, "grace," where it seems that what you want for
you is also what God wants for you. Accepting what the abundant
universe offers you requires a sense of unconditionally receiving.

This chakra is also associated with listening to one's intuition, and
flowing in a particular way where it seems that the Universe supports
you in all that you do. It is the first level of consciousness from
which one perceives another level of intelligence functioning, and
one's interaction with this other level of intelligence.

Parts of the body associated with this chakra include the throat,
shoulders, and arms and hands. and the thyroid gland.

The sense of hearing is associated with this chakra, and the element
of ether, the most subtle physical element, corresponding to what we
find in deep space. The ether is the crossover between the physical
and the spiritual dimensions. Someone looking at the world through
this chakra watches the manifestation of their goals. The Will Arm
represents manifesting what you want, and the Feeling Arm represents
manifesting what makes you happy. Hopefully, the two point to the
same thing.

Sky Blue is the color associated with this chakra.

The Brow Chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness
concerned with the spiritual view, and the home of the Spirit, the
Being within. This level of consciousness is associated with what
western traditions call the unconscious or subconscious, the part of
our consciousness that directs our actions and our life. From this
level we are aware of the motivations behind our actions. We can
watch our outer theater from an inner point of view.

This chakra is associated with the carotid plexus, and the nerves on
each side of the face, and the pituitary gland. Headaches in the
temples or center of the forehead are associated with tensions at
this level. This chakra controls the entire endocrine system as a
system, and the process of growth.

The Brow chakra, also known as the Third Eye, is associated with
extra sensory perception (ESP), the set of all inner senses that
correspond to the outer senses, which together comprise spirit-to-
spirit communication. The element associated with this chakra is a
vibration known as the Inner Sound, the sound that one hears in their
ears that does not depend upon something in the physical world. Some
consider it a pathological condition. In some of the eastern
traditions the ability to hear this is considered a necessary
prerequisite to further spiritual growth.

The color associated with this chakra is Indigo, midnight blue, the
color of lapis lazuli, or the color of the night sky during a full
moon.

The Crown Chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness
concerned with unity or separation, and just as the Root Chakra
showed our connection with Mother Earth, this chakra shows our
connection with Our Father, Which Art in Heaven. At first, it is
associated with our connection with our biological father. This
becomes the model for our relationship with authority, and this
becomes the model for our relationship with God. When there is a
sense of separation from our biological father, the person closes
this chakra, and the effect on the consciousness is a sense of
isolation and aloneness, being in a shell, and difficult to make
contact with those outside the shell.

The person feels as if they are hiding from God, or hiding from
themselves, not seeing what is true for them in the deepest part of
their consciousness, the part we call the soul.

This chakra is also associated with a sense of direction.

The parts of the body controlled by this chakra are the pineal gland,
the brain, and the entire nervous system as a system.

The color associated with the Crown Chakra is Violet, the color of
amethyst.

  Using The Map

When there is tension in a particular part of the body, this
represents a tension in a particular part of the consciousness, about
a particular part of the person's life. Being aware of these
associations helps one to see the importance of resolving the tense
issues in their life.

If it were only a question of doing what is necessary for the person
to be happy, that would be reason enough to motivate the person to
want to change something that doesn't work for them, but here, we see
that it is also a matter of health. The issues that are unresolved in
a person's life are, in fact, hazardous to their health.

When we see the correspondences between the consciousness and the
body, we see the degree to which we each create our reality. In fact,
those words begin to take on a new meaning. We see how everything
begins in our consciousness and we are able to look around us at
other aspects of our lives in the same way.

When we see how the body carries out the messages and deepest wishes
of the Being within the body, we can realize that the process can go
in more than one direction. If our consciousness is directing how we
develop symptoms, it can also direct how we release these same
symptoms. If our consciousness can make our body ill, our
consciousness can make our body well.

The logical conclusion of this process is that anything can be
healed.

Dear Healers and Friends,

a very cordial welcome to our new Magnussa Phoenix newsletter! We are already 71 members, so I think it is about time that I give you a brief description of what we are planning to do and what we are up to.

Our newsletter is meant to cover interesting topics and the latest research in energy medicine, alternative healing and related subjects. You are welcome and invited to submit your own articles for review and publishing. All articles will be copyrighted by you. The newsletter will be in English language and is being distributed worldwide with new subscribers joining every day.

Later down the road, we plan to accept announcements for workshops in different Reiki and energy healing modalities, offers from alternative medical and spiritual schools, colleges and universities, etc. This advertisements will be included in the newsletters for a small fee to compensate for my time and webspace.

Right now in the very beginning the newsletter will be irregular, but it is planned to send out at least one issue per week. Since not everybody can receive HTML messages, the articles, photos etc will be uploaded on our website http://www.magnussa.com/newsletter_e.html and the newsletter that arrives in your inbox will have a number of links leading to the respective articles etc on the webpages.
I believe William Rand solved this problem very well in his own newsletter but he is covering mostly basic Usui Reiki and his Karuna Reiki, we will offer a broader spectrum than that.
If there is enough demand, we might even consider having a printed version of our newsletter at the newsstands (and per regualr and airmail) sometime later at a price that covers the expense of the printing and distribution.

There is a second newsletter in German language in the planning stage, you can subscribe to it at
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Magnussa_Phoenix_Deutsch , it will serve the German speaking countries and everone who likes to read and practise German language.
The webaddress for the German language newsletter will be http://www.magnussa.com/newsletter_d.html

If you have any further questions or would like to send your articles in please write me. This group is a newsletter group only and all replies will come to me directly (or so it says in the Yahoo description).

Thank you very much, and have a wonderful week!

With warm regards from Austria / Europe,
Elisabeth :-))))))
