We will be closed for the holidays, and regular issues of the MTIndia Newsletter, Jobs Newsletter and Coffee Break contests will not be published on 24/25th and 31/1st respectively. RFPs will however be screened and forwarded in real time to MTIndia Corporate Members.
Our office reopens on the 3rd of Jan, 2005. We will be back to our old publication schedule with effect from 7th of Jan, 2005.
I can see a lot of interesting things happening, and look forward to a fulfilling new year for the industry as a whole and the offshore industry in particular. And for those who are not hooked on the grapevine; Spheris, the second-largest medical transcription company, has announced acquisition its No. 3 rival, Avicis formerly HealthScribe Inc, including the India operations, HealthScribe India - India's first and largest MT company, with over 1,500 MTs. The immediate goal, said Spheris' company officials, is to go after market leader MedQuist, with the help of a large work force in India.
