I recently had a painful rash on my abdomen area. My primary doctor
told me it was an insect bite that had gotten infected. He prescribed
cephalexin and it only got worse. I finally went to a dermatologist and
he drained and stuffed about eight inches of wick into the hole. I have
to pull out two inches of wick every day until it's completely out. He
also prescribed Doxycillin(spelled?), with Mupirocin as a topical. It
seems to be working and the bandage has very little blood. Hopefully
this will be over soon, because pulling the wick is pretty aweful....
