I am also a 42 year old woman. I was diagnosed only two weeks ago with CA-MRSA.
Because of this, I ended up with a huge open wound that I have to pack two times a day. It is painful when I do it, I but I deal with my situation with a bright sense of humor.
I have made almost a complete recover in two weeks! The wound is almost healed from 1 1/2 inches deep to only a 1/2 inch deep.
Drink plenty of water and keep your chin up. Each day is a new battle and the one past is a battle you won.
