Hi Darlene,
I was diagnosed with HS in 2001. And just last week after having
sinus surgery, the biopsy of what they removed in there was MRSA. I
am currently in the beginnning of 3 weeks of IV infusions. I don't
yet know how HS relates, other than it seems like a likely way for
it to enter our systems.
My HS is usually under my arms and sometimes a flare in the groin or
butt crack. And really, over the last year or so, it has been more
about old sinus tracts filling and draining and not new bumps.
Right now I am only seeing the ENT that did my sinus surgery, but
hope to follow up with my primary about how HS might relate and how
to manage future issues better.
Good luck to you.
Karen
