I been dealing with MRSA for 2 years now. It comes and goes, in and out of
hospitals. It started with a callous that did not heal right. On the surface it
looked like any regular callous, but as the doctor kept digging and digging and
digging. There was the infection, at one point it went all the way to the bone.
At first it was some bone scraping to get the MRSA out of the bone, then it lead
to a toe amputation. Doctors saying now to go back to normal living, but shortly
after a clean bill of health MRSA came back. And this is where I am now, they
had to do a partial leg amputation, thinking get rid of the leg, get rid of the
MRSA..sounded great..went through the surgery...now the MRSA is in the "good"
leg...I just want a break from this...emotional drains you, strains on my
marriage, the joy and happiness is gone by living in fear "when" I am going to
get sick again. MRSA is some nasty stuff, I would not wish this on anyone.
