I was given a little over a month of vancomycin(sp?) then they tried
daptomycin(sp) and tigersil (sp) I had problems with them...
I was then given Zyvox. I took two a day for three months before we were sure
that the MRSA was kicked. At the time I didn't know of any alternative
methods and hadn't gotten on the pc to check since I was just so sick. (I
had side effects of the antibiotics that caused me not to eat for 3 months and
then I had other side effects of not getting enough nutrition.

I had MRSA 7+ years ago and was (eventually) treated with an antibiotic
"cocktail" for around 2 weeks.
It really knocked me out during the treatment, but it was well worth it
since I can say that I have had zero occurences since that time.
I see many suggestions on this site, mostly holistic and/or supplements,
or items similar to the honey, vitamin C, tumeric, and the like mentioned
often. I took only high doses of antiobiotics and they worked 100%.
Has anyone had similar situations?
Thanks.
John
