Hello everyone!
I have been pondering all the info that has been posted up here
lately and it has been very good to hear what is working for your
children.

We are still not really liking this new car seat and are still
investigating others that my work. It seems like the evenflo has a
wide head range without the weird head neck support, it looks kind of
like the britax just cheaper. We also have a head/neck support for
Micah that comes and velcroes around his chin. It is called the
sleepytime head rest and it comes in different sizes. We are still
using the infant size because Micah has a small head. Even finding
hats to fit is a rediculous process!

We finally recieved our new uh, stroller, what was it you all were
calling it, a buggy or a pram? It is a Kolcraft contours and the cost
was $250.00 but it lays down, both seats come out, a small carseat
can be strapped into it for tiny babies, and it can be converted so
that you can see both of your children, or they can be seated so they
look at each other or face forward. You can also just take one seat
out for later when the other children are too big and use the space
left to carry things, like when you go grocery shopping and such. I
am excited to start using it. My husband calls it the Catalac of
strollers. It only comes in red and we bought our online through
Target.com

I was doing some converstions with weights and seeing how our
children differ. It seems that some are either heavy and at the top
of the charts or skinny little things and just trying to jump the
gap. Micah is pretty small, yet for his weight he is long. It did
seem that most of our children are long.

Nikki, was it you who had mentioned funding? We get some funding here
in the USA, enough that I can stay home with Micah and so that most
medical bills are paid. It is still hard getting equiptment. We have
had a bath chair on order since spring this year and the Medicaid
program in our country is supposed to be able to fund those types of
things and we are still waiting to see if they will! By the time they
say it is ok, he will have moved on to the next size entirely!! There
are other ways to get things if you desperately need them like the
chair that Micah has was put together from many other children's old
chairs and it seems to work for him most of the time. It is very
heavy though so we have been sticking to the stroller for any outside
outings to keep the weight down.

Yes, we are still waiting for baby two to come!! I am feeling the
pressure and waddling these days is getting a little silly. Nothing
like feeling like a duck! I even get looks from other moms when they
see how young Micah looks... they give me this look like "Are you
crazy!" I am sure they think that Micah was just born... and so on I
can't wait to see if this younger sibling out grows him, and I am
waiting for the " Are they twins " comments to start coming!

Any who, Have a wonderful day, thanks for all of your comments on
here Moms! and Dads, I know that you are out there too!
Blessings,
Rachel
