Hi Tan, congratulations on the new baby on the way! Kristan did try potassium
bromide in the beginning when she was still a baby and we tried it for a few
weeks, worked for two weeks, but also sedated her and then didn't work anymore,
I don't remember if there were any side effects, she was always seizing so much
as a baby and just so sedated on every seizure drug we tried. I remember her
previous neuro saying the same thing about it being used on dogs.

Glad to hear Joce has had some relief from the screaming.
