This discussion forum is dedicated to the issues of major interest surrounding the neurological/immune/endocrine disease known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

Over the last six and a half years we have provided a positive, informed and detailed debate surrounding the medical, social and political issues that affect people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

We aim to help promote a fundamental change in the way we are treated through raising awareness of issues important to anyone directly or indirectly affected by this potentially devastating and often debilitating condition.

The aim of this group is to share, knowledge, news, research and our views regarding the issues that do and will affect us. Pooling our knowledge, views and individual skills has indeed helped us all to become a well informed network - empowering us all to help raise awareness and to effect change.

We are trying to add to the goal that one day M.E. will be respected, correctly recognised and effectively treated as a neurological, immunological and overwhelmingly a physiological illness/disability in its own right. We hope that the needs of ME patients will be treated with urgency and understanding.

We also aim to achieve a level and quality of healthcare from the NHS; proportional to the severity of the illness/disease that many of us are living with.

We ardently support all organisations that have the same aims as ourselves.
