HI Everyone
 
Today I am working on the location for our BBQ Family fun...right now the best one I can find that is w/c accessible and affordable for up to 100 person is:
Lake Kissimmee State Park in Lake Wales Florida.  
 
I am trying my very best to find something that is centralize so that many does not have to travel to far. Many, who are more then 3 hours away may want to consider a Friday overnight stay (possible Saturday too).    
 
Also...I just wanted you to know that I have invited Karen T, a lobbyist to come and listen to us speak of the needs for disable children in Florida. She is a wonderful person who has been representing children statewide. And Yes, I have also invited Governor elect Jim Davis as well.  I feel that he has a sincere listening ear and I think he needs to hear OUR VOICES  and the voices of our children first hand.  I'm sure that Senator Graham may join him as well.  
 
I will be visiting the park tommarrow to make sure everything is ok and put the rental fee down to reserve it.  
 
I do have it set for October 14, Saturday.  ALL Florida families with a family member affected with MD are invited to come and socialize and if things work out for Karen and Jim Davis to join us, to speak with them.
