The senate Pensions, Veteran's Affairs and General Laws Committee will
hold hearings TODAY at 1:00 pm for both the tocology repeal bill (SB870)
which we STRONGLY OPPOSE, and also for the CPM licensure bill (SB1021)
which we STRONGLY SUPPORT.

Please call the 8 members of this committee NOW and let them know that
these 2 votes are VERY IMPORTANT to you. The #1 priority is that they
NOT repeal the tocology language. Ask them to vote against SB870.
There are lots of reasons for this, but the most important is that it
would send us back to square one with midwives being felons.

The #2 priority (also crucial) is to support SB1021 to license CPMs.
