Personal Exemption: Interviews Needed for AP Story   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #4774 of 5006 |
Hello everyone,

AP reporter Andale Gross is still interested in speaking with Missouri citizens who wish to see the personal exemption to Missouri's vaccine law reinstated.  Lets show him that Missouri citizens want and need this exemption reinstated!  It will help the legislative process this year if he writes about a show of support on this issue.  Please contact Andale at 816-654-1074 or AGross@... as soon as possible if you are willing to stand up and be counted.

Hello everyone, and happy holidays!

While our members are quiet these days, they still exhibit persistent interest in demanding the re-instatement of our personal exemption to Missouri's vaccine law.  The timing is perfect to get some additional momentum going in Missouri.  We will need your help to get these bills passed.  Here is your chance to do something about it!

Vaccine exemption bills are once again being drafted at our state legislature for next year's session.  A Kansas City AP reporter has contacted us as well, requesting interviews for a story that must be turned in before Friday.  Andale Gross, AP reporter in Kansas City can be reached at 816-654-1074 if you are willing to be interviewed for his story.

The Missouri Citizens' Coalition for Freedom in Health Care (MCC-FHC) has been attempting to reinstate our personal exemption since 1993, when the Missouri legislature eliminated it at the request of the Missouri Department of Health (who also now has rule-making authority to mandate vaccines at will without going through the legislature).  Each year the personal exemption bills get closer to being passed.  But its going to take a lot more help on everyone's part to make this a reality.  Big Pharma funds a LOT of our political campaigns and has very powerful lobbying efforts.  They have a vested interest in passing as many vaccine mandates as possible.  Our legislators need to know this is an important issue to us.  Please contact the Governor and your State Legislators expressing your desire to reinstate the personal exemption and remove the rule-making authority that the Missouri Department of Health has in mandating vaccines without going through the legislature.  Contact me privately at email@... if you would like to help coordinate our efforts at the state capitol.  By all means, contact Andale Gross and let him know that we here in Missouri want our rights reinstated when it comes to vaccine exemptions.  Here is your chance to help with this important issue, one that is currently making national news.  The timing couldn't be better.  Thank you for your help!

Subject: Story on vaccine exemptions

I'm a writer with The Associated Press here in Kansas City. I'm working on a news story about parents and others who would like to see Missouri get a conscientious exemption for parents who don't want their children to be immunized.

I understand that Missouri has medical and religious exemptions for vaccinations, but a conscientious exemption would make it so parents can pass on immunizations simply because of personal choice.

Please give me a call at 816-654-1074 (that's my direct line at the news bureau). I have to turn the story in by Friday.

Thanks. I look forward to talking to you.
